"I have caught many stripers (up to 15lbs) on this plug. It casts a mile and has sure set hooks. I have also caught blues on this plug and it holds up well. Walks the dog with little effort. The strikes are so explosive, I've had stripers launch out of the water just to crush this plug."

"Very good castabililty with conventional surf reel and rod. I find this lure very useful in the incoming and early outgoing tides at the Barnegat inlet, terrific on blues and weakies. I still have to bag a striper with this lure. Timing of my walk on this lure is pop, pop, rest, then pop, pop, and long draw with the rod, then rest, and so on. It is usually after the long draw I get the hits. One difficulty that I have with this lure is playing it in moderate to heavy surf, in the open beach. On the whole I find this lure very useful. It has found a place in my surf bag."
