Advanced Angler's newest generation of ProSport On-Board Marine Battery Chargers offers increased power and performance with a rugged 100% waterproof/shockproof design that delivers advanced electronic technology in a heavy-duty, compact and lightweight case. Designed by ProMariner ProSports, sequential multistage charging gives you the peace of mind that your batteries are being charged, conditioned and maintained so they are ready when you are. Each charger offers two precision charge profiles that are easily selectable: factory set or "out of the box." ProSport delivers a Performance/Flooded (Lead Acid)/AGM Battery Charge profile that will be friendly to your batteries while extending their life and delivering a full charge every time. ProSport Maintenance Mode is completely safe for short- or long-term storage. ProSport Distributed-On-Demand? Charging technology, which takes 100% of the available charging amps and distributes them to any one battery or combination of all batteries as needed, is combined with its extruded-aluminum housing for increased power and faster charging. ProSport enhanced feature set includes: a battery charge profile selector that allows you to select the charge profile to match your battery type to include flooded (lead acid)/AGM or gel batteries, New expanded LED status center identifying AC power, charge mode, ready/maintenance mode and battery type. All multibank models include dual-in-line DC cable fuses for maximum battery cable protection and safety. Performance built with maximum protection including: ignition, polarity, over voltage, over temperature and short-circuit protection. All models include thermal output control ? providing the appropriate charging amps to your batteries, while maintaining the recommended temperature of the Advanced Angler ProSport II charger. Constructed to Marine UL and FCC Class Guidelines. Pre-wired for easy installation with a full two- year warranty on every model.

"if you are reading the reviews then you are smart and will stay away from this. i had the pro sport 12 -2 bank. i would have been on my third one in less than a year and half. i elected to go with the minn kota , which i should have done in the first place. i live within 5 miles of cabelas which made returns easy and hasselfree, but if i was out of state i would not be so courteous. cabelas chose the wrong company to affiliate on this one and i hope at some point they will stop selling junk under thier trade name. ....product was well maintained and failed times. .wjust shirts out internally and stops working.....not a fluke when you read all the other reviews...buyer beware"

"worked perfectly... very convienient!! .... but it only worked for 8 months then went up....customer service was excellent english speaking ladies that I could understand got me a new one under warranty and shipped it quick new one working perfectly so far"

"I purchased a different type of onboard charger and as soon as I got it out of the box I found it to be defective, so I exchanged it for a new one. I hooked it up and it took 56 hours to fully charge my three batteries. Then I went on Cabelas and bought this triple bank charger and my batteries charge from completely dead to full in about 8 hours. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone."

"These chargers perform very well but are not very durable. Had one mounted to my aluminum duck boat. I take very good care of my equipment. Mounted it in the back very neatly with; plenty of ventilation. It was not out of the weather as there is no place to do that on my boat, but my boat is under cover when not used. Long story short, I used the warranty to it's fullest.... They replaced the unit 3 times. Gave up uninstalling and reinstalling after that. Cabelas lived up to their warranty, but the PS8 is pretty fragile. Each time I would replece the charger, it would work well for couple months then go bad."

"The ProSport II has only been in service for a month, but my two batteries are always topped off when I take the boat out. My bilge pump runs when we get a lot of rain and this had previously put a drain on the batteries. I keep my boat at a dock in the water, so this is much easier than messing around with a portable charger.
Installaton was very easy. Hopefully, the unit will continue to operate as it is now."

"I'm in the process of returning the Prosport 20 Plus for the third time. All three were new units.
The first one just quit working. The second one burnt up on the inside to the point that you couldn't touch the unit. And now the third one not only smoked itself, but the $200 worth of batteries it was hooked to.
They lasted 6 months, 8 months, and 12 months respectively. Don't buy a Promariner anything."

"Unlike my old charger which took forever to bring my trolling and cranking batteries up to full charge (and I had to switch it between batteries) This unit does it all automatically and quickly. I just plug in the boat - simple!!!"

"Have had it rigged up for about 2 months and works perfect. Quick charging without getting too hot. I made an aluminum tube frame to mount mine to in between my batteries, and it acts like an additional heat sink to help cool it. Just plug boat in for a couple hours when you get home and you're done!"

"Product was easy to install. My charger came missing the selector cap for lead acid batteries. I have called and left messages with the manufacture. I haven't received any response after waiting 4 working days. I wish i could deal with cabela's on this but i know i need to deal with the manufacture."

"Very nice charger that I mounted on my battery box for my motorhome. Works very well to keep my house battery and engine battery charged with only one cord to plug in. "WELL BUILT PRODUCT, COMPACT SIZE MOUNTS ANYWHERE, EXTENSION CABLE WAS VERY HANDY, REASONABLY PRICED, EASILY CHARGES BATTERIES OVERNIGHT. I'VE ONLY HAD THE CHERGER FOR A COUPLE MONTHS SO WE'LL SEE IF IT STANDS THE TEST OF TIME. FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD CABELAS BACKS THESE WITH A GREAT WARRANTY, HOPEFULLY I WON'T HAVE TO USE IT!"
