"I purchased the battery status gauge, I recieved it in a couple of days, when I installed it I found only 1 status indicator worked. the other two were defective. Other people had the same problem as I found out when it was to late. Cabela's however was excellent they stood behind the return policy and made returning this item a breeze."

"Inline fuse holders make it impossible to use existing wiring runs in my center console. It would also be helpful if Cabella's carried the shorter extender as well as the 15 footer model."

Received a defective unit.,

"I purchased the Remote 3 battery monitor mainly because it is a surface mount unit. I was not to sure about only 3 different levels of juice left (100%, 50%, and 0%), but I really did not feel like cutting a hole to mount a battery monitor. Unfortunately, Bank 3 on the unit did not work. Battery was fine, but the unit was defective. So, instead of returning it for a replacement, I chose a different battery monitor instead."

"The electrical cord cover was a little tricky to install due to trying to find the best location for it and then having to drill the hole for it. In over all this idem does what it sould and does look nice on the boat."

Bulky To Work With But Worth It!,

"My ProMariner20 onboard charger gets pretty warm and I wanted to relocate it further away from my batteries and gas tank. I didn't want to cut and splice the factory cables, so I purchased two ProMariner 15ft. extension cables. They are very well made and the gold plated nut & bolt connectors are definitely heavy duty. However, four of them (2 battery banks) produce a pretty bulky mass to fit into raceways or hide out of sight some other way. I ended up running mine through some surface mounted 2" corrugated hose and had to cut a 1.5" hole to fit the large ATC fuse holders into my battery compartment. These cables work great and were the right solution for my situation."

3 Battery Monitor,

"The monitor works well, I needed the cable extender to install
the monitor at the steering console. Only problem, the faceplate of the monitor came off while towing the boat, and if you don't have LED positions memorized, you won't know what you are looking at. It also creates the possibility of water getting in the unit if you are caught in a rain shower or rough water."
