Wave Killer lenses are made from optical-quality glass. These glasses have a scratchproof,
encapsulated mirror and eight layers of reflective zircon, titanium and magnesium oxides. The Mirror
lens series have scratchproof, reflecting zircon, titanium and magnesium oxides. They boast a
polarizing film of pure PVA iodine dye. They also have a protective internal ultraviolet ray shield, six
no-fade Colorific® tints, magnesium fluoride anti-reflective coating and patented water-repellent
coating. Also available with Costa C-Mates™ reader lenses to aid you when tying knots or

"Time will tell, but first time out on the water they worked great and were comfortable to wear. Don't bother buying a neck strap, they already come with a decent strap that clips to the ends of the temples."

"The quality of the lens is excellent. The fit and coverage of the frame is very good. My only suggestion would be the addition of a non-slip pad on the nose. The frame slips down the nose a little when I sweat."

"This is the second pair of Wave Killer sunglasses I have purchased from Cabelas (vermillion lenses being the first). The fit is perfect, the arms have flexible tips that automatically adjust behind the ears. Full wrap design adequately blocks peripheral glare. Green mirror/amber lenses are perfect for sunny days, especially if you have sensitive eyes and get headaches from lighter shade lenses. You will have a hard time finding a higher quality and better fitting pair of sunglasses."

"I searched a long time comparing various brands of sunglasses and settled on my Costa Del Mar Wave Killers. One of my main reasons for this selection was the polarized glass lense. I have owned other plastic lense sunglasses and find they do not hold up over the long run and do not have the clarity of a glass lense. I have not been disappointed with my Wave Killer. These sun glasses offer exceptional clarity in most lighting conditions even in low light situations. My only complaint is the weight of the sunglasses, when wearing over a long period of time. I expected this with a glass lense but the large size of the frame and lense may account for the extra weight. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and woud buy Costa Del Mar agian, even with the weight of the glass lense."
