"My all time favorite shades. I'm on my 3rd pair from loosing them about once every 18 months (or feeding them to my dog), but can't find anything cheaper that I'm satisfied with. The gold lenses work with a variety of different lighting conditions. No pressure points allow you to forget they're there during all day fishing. Cuts surface glare extremely well for sight fishing or navigating shallow rivers/flats. I tried Smith, Native & Costa Del Mar hoping for some variety, but can't find anything as comfortable to wear all day every day. Warning - these, like all plastic lenses, will scratch if you're not careful, especially if you allow your dog to chew on them and replacement lenses are bad expensive. As a photographer, I'm particularly sensitive to having less than perfectly clean optics."

"These sunglasses are great. They are very light and comfortable to wear. The lenses provide a level of clarity that I have never seen in a pair of sunglasses before. I could wear them all day and they look good too. My wife liked my new sunglasses so well that she purchased a pair. They are a little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. "I have used these glasses for well over a year now and found them to be well worth the $300. Exellent clearity and glare reduction. On top of that they can take a beating. My friend ran into me a couple months ago smashing my glasses between us. My friends reaction was one of horror looking at the pieces of my glasses laying on the pavement between us. I told him not to worry and simply snapped them back together. Short of running these over with your car these glasses can take just about anything you can dish out. I highly recommed any oakley's to anyone looking for high preformance sunglasses."

"The clarity and glare reduction can not be beat. You have to try them to believe them. The protection they give and comfort can not be beat at any price.
Use the cloth and rinse the lenses with warm soapy water, no T-shirt, and they will last several years.
The frame is extreemly durable. Can not think of any possible way to improve this product."

"I have been struggling with paying this much for a pair of sunglasses for years.... finally pulled the trigger.
Excellent fit, excellent glare reduction. I just did a high ropes course this weekend and wore them the whole time. Upside down, climbing 70 feet up trees... jumping off... no problem
The only downside is if you area motorcycle rider and you have a full face helmet. They do not fit well into a helmet."
