"I recently broke about 6" off the tip of a casting rod. After measuring the dia. of the broken rod end I couldn't quite decide the correct size for a new tip. I selected this repair kit because it included several size choices & matched the brand & Finish (Gold) of the guide set on my rod. It was a simple task to glue the replacement tip on the rod & complete a matching thread winding. My rod is now a bit shorter & a bit stiffer, but very usable."

"If you have a med-light action rod you will find the tips too big and have to finish the job with crazy glue. It could just be my rod too. At the end of the day the kit got the job done."

"Just trust this. Your going to need to have at very least one package in your tackle box. At some point your going to need to replace a rod tip. I ended up buying a few extra packs. Becuase i know I WILL need them sometime."
