1.Goretex 2.velcro straps on sleeves 3.plenty of pockets 4.hood that covers most of the face for those long cold rides down the lake"

"I demand a lot from my garments, and with interior alaska's ever changing weather extremes I expected a lot from the pairing of gore tex's new fabric and cabelas. First off The fabric has a nice feel to it, soft but tough, very fine woven stuff, the kind that doesnt pick vegetation. At first inspection it seemed thin, but proved to be more than adequate. Warm on a pretty cool day with only a t-shirt underneath. It does have a little stretch, and the fleeced inside does'nt snag when layering too much. The garment cut is full, not like the super slim constricting fit of most yup outdoor brands today, and fits well. Was able to put every layer I needed underneath with room to move. Not the most packable of garments, fabric is substantial. I was very impressed with the waterproofness, definitely the most waterproof garment Ive ever owned- more than big name things with so called mm-ratings of 20,000. Bottom line If you actually have to use your clothes like I do, this jacket and bibs work well."

"My biggest concern was to have somethhing that was actualy waterproof and the guidewear parka and sport bibbs are just that. These fit very well, have alot of pockets and the zippers seam to be of very good quality."
