MR1,February 6, 2009
By ncarrarafrom upstate NY
"Geat gun, durable never stops. This was my first marker, I started a few years ago. I wanted a mechanical gun because they are much more reliable and low maintenence. The rail on the top of the gun is useless because its too short, and the stock is level with the gun so your eyes wont go that low anyway. If you really want a scope in addition to the dovetail sights, you can buy an adapter to get a picannty rail you can use. You dont need it though, this gun is super accurate, I put a 16" ceramic barrel on mine and cranked up the velocity and its FAST and SILENT. If you have to have a sight I reccomend getting a green laser. You can also get a stock that drops down, there are lots of accesories out there for this gun. If you are going to compete, I would suggest an electric gun, but if you're just having fun, this gun cycles plenty quick."

good gun,November 1, 2007
By Cafkafrom New Britain, CT
"good gun for the woodsball player, but if this is going to be your first gun, don't get it. i have been playing paintball for 3 years and this is my second gun. it is a good gun for me since i play woodsball mostly. but if you are a casual player i would go with a jt tac or a lower-end electric gun. anyway
Pros: VERY durable, great cusomizable parts, never chops (i shot 2000 balls and not one chopped.)
Cons: Little heavy, if you like to shoot really fast this is not the gun for you."

MR1 to MR3,May 15, 2007
By Innoculatefrom Grand Island, Ne
"ive been doing paint ball for several years but one thing about the MR1 is i dont doubt its usefullness and especialy the way it looks, it has an WW2 brittish sub machinegun look but if you can spair the extra $$ id go with the MR3 which is an over all improved gun, if anyone looks at the MR2 id stay away from it there has been several problems with it including jamming and braking with the loader. even with an electronic hopper it still has troubles. just over all id still go with the MR3 if you can spair the $$ other wise the MR1 is a very close match."

Not very trustworthy,May 4, 2007
By speicalKfrom Columbia, MO
"This gun started out to be awesome but after about 5 uses the bolt started to lock up causeing me to either get hit or lose time to reach out and touch someone. Then after about the 10th use of the marker the trigger broke on me keeping me from playing for 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong my was nice but I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends. Also If you do buy it make sure to send in the warranty!!"

MR1 ROCKS!!!,April 22, 2007
By ellncstlw
"I been playing paintball for a few years. I always liked tournament paintball by my friend told me about scenario paintball. He told it was like the military so tried it. He told me to get a gun that looked mliltaristic so I went up to Cabelas and I saw the MR1. This gun had dead pin point accuracy, it shoots very fast, and this is just a grear gun!"

tough,April 13, 2007
By Greenie90
"I play paintball a lot but this gun is one of the best guns I've ever had for many reasons. 1, it is realy tough and reliable. 2, not very expensive. 3, it shoots fast, it's very accurate. I hit an orange from 46yards 7/10 times. i would recomend it to anyone starting out or to anyone who has been playing for years. it's awsome!"
