Great Kayak Gaff,April 20, 2009
By Fish4Reelzfrom Clearwater, FL
"I bought this gaff for a recent kayak tournament and love the way it telescopes out of the way when not in use. I fish on a kayak so space saving and floatation is important to me. Great for inshore gamefish."

Not a good product,October 9, 2008
By firemanbobfrom Hartford, Ct
"I used this on my boat only a few times this summer and the tip is now very rusty. I could live with that, but now the plastic lock in the middle has come apart from the shaft (only held on with 1 or 2 drops of glue). The gaff is going back to Cabela's for a refund. Bottom line- don't waste your time with these."

light duty gaff,August 1, 2007
By Haroldx
"The plastic handle uses adhesive to the metal shaft. It came unglued and it wasnt even used yet. It is not a heavy duty or even medium duty gaff."

Telescopic Gaff,July 27, 2007
By BigRedOne777from Jacksonville, FL
"I bungee this to the center console in a 17.5' boat for normal travel and fishing. It extends easily and is sharp. We just took 3rd place in the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tourney, boarding a 40.25 and a 15.0 with this gaff. If I had checked the floating ability of it, I would have given it 5 stars."
