Sub-par performance,September 10, 2009
By KuduHunterfrom Alaska
"I purchased 2 1.5 million cp spotlights to replace ones that were about 6-7 years old. The switch on one had broken and figured the other wasn't far behind. The new 1.5 mcp is not as bright as my old 1 mcp light. If I had to do it again I'd have gotten one of the biggest ones they have."

one candle is brighter,August 10, 2009
By Sailrgrlfrom Doylestown, PA
"This is a terrible product. I actually read the instruction manual and charged it for the recommended 24 hours before turning it on. It barely holds a charge, and is NOT a bright spotlight. We sail in the Atlantic Ocean off of New Jersey. I am not comfortable relying upon this spotlight AT ALL. It is going back to Cabela's."

Rechagreable Spotlight,March 9, 2009
By RBBJRfrom SW Ohio
"The spotlight is very good. It works as advertised - very bright, nice tight beam. My only knock is that it will not work on charging power - either 12 V or 120V. (Must be fully charged for use.) I did not understand that when I ordered it. Otherwise, it is a great light."

You get what you pay for,November 6, 2008
By FishinMofrom Detroit, MI
"I thought having a rechargable spotlight on the boat would be a good thing. The price seemed more than reasonable.
Unfortunately, this is a classic case of you get what you pay for. I am not sure where the advertised 25 minute run-time comes from. I am lucky to get 15 out of it fresh off the charger. That is only using it intermittantly. If on constantly, 5 minutes tops. If you let it sit for a few days (after being fully charged and not used at all), I get about half that. Also, according to the instructions that came with it, it is not recommended to use the spotlight while it is plugged into the included lighter adapter. Not very useful."
