"Very similar to the shallow shad rap. Nice action, maybe doesn't cast quite as well. I has some nice luck with it on small mouth and walleye on a recent trip to NW Ontario. Not sure it will replace the shad rap, but the range of colors will keep it in my tackle box"

"Saved the day in a family tournament held in Northern Minnesota on Labor Day. Usually use shallow shad raps downrigging walleyes, but decided to try the Executor instead. Not only caught the most fish - not even close - but also the largest. My go-to lure (hot perch) always is the first one in the water for me, and it has yet to let me down. Also, more durable the the shad raps."

"It is the spittin' image of a #5 Shad Rap. I fish the river and the lip on this lure collects Mississippi mud and throws the tracking off. I prefer the #5 shad rap. It may work ok on the weed flats and rocks of the big lakes."

"used the Salmo Executer in heavy running water on the Menominee River between WI and MI. Ran true in the current, caught a nice smallmouth and had one tremendous strike which I did not land but felt very heavy while I had it on."
