"Everything worked as written, but the live sardines (saltwater) produced massive amounts of foam which continued to pour out of the top of the bucket. In turn, the fish lasted maybe 45 minutes.
I assume it was carbon dioxide that produced the foam, but I have not seen it on any other conventional live wells. I can not recommend this product at this time."

"Holds water and makes bubbles just fine. I found there are different quality bait fish after buying a few. I kept a couple dozen minnows in the tank for a weekend. A third died, but that is no fault of this product. I blame poor quality minnow storage at the bait shop. Battery life didn't last as long as noted. All in all...good product. Holds water and minnows. Kept them cool. Be sure to keep extra batteries on hand."

"the bucket was fine but the motor did not work in the bubble maker. We thought it was the battery and bought new ones as we were buying minnows for our fishing trip. We did not have time to return it because we were on our way to a fishing derby that was 5 hours away in the UP of Michigan. We purchased a new bubble maker at the bait shop and placed it on the bucket we purchased. I realize that some things are beyond our control. But it was just dissapointing. Maybe cheap equipment?"

"I had one that was getting very old, so I purchased a new one. I take it to Canada so the minnows I get from the resort stays alive better. As long as the battery is good, your minnows will stay alive. It is really good when you have to take a long boat ride, and don't have to stop to give the minnows fresh water. Have had minnows stay alive for 2 days before they were use. Great product."

"I would have to say this is one of the best things you can take along to keep your minnows alive. I do alot of Pa. fishing for the big browns on Penns Creek. If you want to keep your minnows alive and fresh, I highly recommend you purchase this live bait container. I had to test it for myself and yes the batteries will last even up to 72 hours. Change you water often and you will have fresh live bait. Happy fishing!"
