"This knife may be kind of a poor machete, but it will work as one in a pinch, however if I was going to be stranded in the wilderness for an extended period of time with only one tool on my belt, this is the one I would want. You just can't help but smile as soon as you draw this thing from it's sheath for the first time, and you can't help but adopt an Aussie accent and proclaim "Now that's a knife!" This is your Rambo/Crocodile Dundee special. I love it! It is very well built, holds a nice edge, and the saw back teeth actually work well."

"THis was an awesome knife. I took a survival class and brought this knife to the field training exercise and it was probably the best knife their in my opinion. It is great for easy to medium saw jobs and comes very sharp. Some other reviews said it has a small handle but it didnt seem small to me. Comes with a great sheeth to."

Good camping tool- not a survival knife,

"This inexpensive knife is great to keep with your camping gear or in your vehicle when you need a large knife or small machete. I use it for cutting or chopping tasks that I would rather not do with an expensive hunting or survival knife that I need to keep sharp for more detailed uses such as cleaning fish and game or food preparation. This knife was not designed to be used as a log splitter and anyone who is disappointed that such use damages the blade needs to buy an axe. Use the right tool for the right job and you wont be disappointed with this product."

"I got this knife as a gift, I have to say that I was alittle worried about how it would hold up at first look. But after splitting afew logs and doing some general limb pruning I found this knife to be of great quality and really if I had to buy anouther one and the price tripled I would pay it. It is one great buy."

"I bought this knife to have something a little bigger to carry in the woods on my day hikes, and didnt want to carry a machete.
It is Feb in ND and cold and my daughter and I went out shed hunting and it took the SOG Fusion along to try it out. The knife showed up razor sharp. My daughter stumbled across a buck carcass with a very unusal rack so I broke out the Fusion to take the head off.. the blade sliced through the frozen carcass like butter and two wacks with the blade to the spine and it was off.. I know if i would have had my usual hunting knife i would have struggled with the frozen hide and tissue
I stopped along the way and hacked at some trees as well as using the saw back.
The saw back works ok. The knife itself works well at hacking a tree limb.
when i got home and inspected the blade there was a small whoop in the blade, but its nothing that a good sharpening will straighten out.
To sum up, its a good solid knife, but it is big so measure your current knife and then look at the length of this one so your not surprised,"

"i use this thing for everything! its amazing.
i keep it strapped upside down on my left packstrap when i go hiking for protection and a "ready to use knife." i use it for a hammer, an axe, to make fires, to dig ditches and a limb saw...oh and to cut things.
i dont think i havent done anything with this thing.
i would have to say it needs to be ground down onces its out of the box, or else it wont hold an edge for very long, i keep mine razor sharp, and with my TLC after heavy use, it can stay that way for a long time. '
i would say the handles a little to small for bigger hands, but i have small hands so whats it matter."

"i just ordered this knife i love it so far its very sturdy and well built ive seen some bad reviews about the handle though and that made me question to buy it but the handle is fine... sure it could be a little better id rather the knife extend through the whole handle but the handle is still nicely built i would recomend this knfe to anyone the blade is not thin like some of the reviews said"

"I purchased this knife for my son-in-law. He is not impressed
easily! When he tore the Christmas paper off the box his
eyes became very big and he became very excited. He has
been to the woods several times since Christmas day and tells
me how much he enjoys using this knife. This knife is of A+
quality. He absolutely loves this knife. He uses this knife for a
variety of applications. The serated blade for sawing/heavy
cutting, the hammer like tip on the end of the handle is very
useful, the blade will chop down very small trees. This knife is
VERY heavy duty and very well balanced! I would very highly
recommend this knife!!"
