2mm Neostretch neoprene lining, padded collar for comfort
Studded felt sole, tungsten carbide studs for gripping traction
Seasoned fishermen know the value of a good pair of wading boots. They know how a good pair of boots
can extend a day on the water, and even save you from taking a dip when crossing slippery rocks in fast-
moving water. That's the fisherman we designed our new Guidewear Wading Boots for. We started with
high-grade synthetic leather uppers and rustproof brass hardware to provide superior durability and rot
protection. To protect the high-stress toe area, we used triple-stitched Wade Guard™ toe caps.
Then we put in a 2mm Neostretch™ neoprene lining and padded collar for comfort. But some of the
best features are on the bottom of the boot. A Goodyear® welted outsole is super durable, plus it
provides an extra-wide footprint for stability and traction. Studded felt sole uses tungsten carbide studs
for moss-covered granite-gripping action. Lastly, the extra-wide tongue gusset and opening allows for
extremely easy on and off. Men's whole sizes: 8-14. Color: Brown.

Love My New Boots,November 18, 2009
By AvgOkiefrom Rogers, Arkansas
"Just had my first opportunity to try out these new boots. No problems at all. Easy to get into and out of, comfortable enough for all day wear. Gave my foot plenty of support. I wear a size 10 in street shoes, but ordered a size 11 in the boot so there would be room for thick socks under the neo. sock. Just the right choice so my toes have room to move."

Great Boots!,November 18, 2009
By RevJayBearfrom Idaho Falls, Idaho
"I have almost three years on a pair of these and still going strong! I fish alot and on foot. I abuse boots. The terrain here in Idaho is severe and these boots perform great. They are really comfortable for my feet. I am a little wide in the sole and these boots still accomodate extra socks. My feet rarely ever get cold. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they need to last another 2 years to surpass my prior boot of choice. I highly recommend these boots to anybody, anytime, anywhere! Keep these Cabela's!"

wading boot,November 10, 2009
By papah475from Magic Valley Idaho
"I was very pleased with the fit. I wear a 10.5 ordered an 11. These have very good support. My old boots were canvas and worked ok. I really like the ankle support these give. It's almost like wearing hiking boots while fishing."

Did what they were built to do,November 9, 2009
By PatfromMassfrom Central Ma.
"Purchased these boots for a four day late fall Steelhead trip on the Salmon river in upstate NY. Spent about eleven hours each day in the river and they never let me down. The boots performed great over slimy rocks and a pretty swift current I was impressed with how easy it was getting into them with oversized neoprene wader booties. An excellent wading boot for a great price."

great boots,November 4, 2009
By Maddyrfrom Stratford, Ontario, Canada
"These boots have been solid. I use them for steelheading in Lake Huron tribs, and they've been great thus far. They are built very sturdy, and I was surprised at how solid the studs are. I'm normally a size ten and ordered an eleven - a great fit."

Worked Well for Me!,October 13, 2009
By RixWadingfrom Dallas, Texas
"This purchase was for my first pair of wading boots. I was heading to the Salmon River the first week of October. The river is very rocky and the land was wet from rain. We were fishing in some low grade rapids and visability to the bottom was obscured. I felt these boots, with the studds, saved me from many falls. My friends had some large spikes on their boots or a stap on set of 'corkers' with much larger spikes. I feel this pair did very well for me. I never slipped (unless I was trying to practically run and that is a different story, I just fell!). The downside to these boots is the physical size. They were nearly twice as large as my normal shoes (outside footprint). They of course had to be large enough on the inside to accomidate my waders with some comfortable room. However, my friends mostly had boots that were more similar to shoes and not as bulky. I did get used to the size though. The boot itself is very durable and had the effect of steel toe boot banging around on the rocks below. The size was useful when I stepped down into a hole or was feeling my way below. They gave me a great sense of stability. For a guy who had achilles tendon re-attachment a couple years ago, the stability of the boot with the studs was really just what I needed. For those with stronger ankles you might consider a smaller option if you need to travel by air like me. The boots took up a pretty good chunk of my checked bag. They did the job though and I came out alive!"

Cabela's Guidewear® Studded Felt Sole Wading Boot,October 8, 2009
By Dansdadfrom Central PA
"I fished the area of the Little Juniata River just below the Spruce Creek intake this past summer in simple felt soles. I was continually slipping, and even though I was hooking up fish, my footing experience left me wondering if I should ever fish that area again. However, I purchased the studded felt sole wading boots and fished the same area last week - seriously, I had no problem and I have had a 100% increase in my wading confidence since purchasing these boots. Good price, disposable boot,September 6, 2009
By GWS243from Glenwood Springs, CO
"I wore these for after/before work fishing jaunt for a season and a half and they sufficed. The studs cling very well to logs & mossy rocks. They excel on ice. They grip poorly on smooth rocks in & out of the water. They are very noisy (to the wearer & the fish). Stealthy wading is made much more difficult by this.
After a year and a half of casual use a lace broke, and the inner liner tore out on one boot. I used them every day for three days last week and they fell apart on me. The lace broke on the other boot, the liner tore out on that, the pull-on loops broke, the massive toe cap has come loose on one.
Even if you had to have studs, get the strap-on chains, and put them on a better boot. Go rubber."

Great Solid Boot,August 24, 2009
By RabbitArthurfrom Newfoundland, Canada. Big water salmon fishing.
"I originally bought a pair of Cabela's Ultralight Wading Boots. Although they were a light, comfortable wading boot, the stitching in the toe area tore and I had to send them back to get another pair. In the new pair, the stitching tore again in the same place. So I ended up getting this style of boot instead. It's much more sturdy and solid with better ankle support (I've rolled my ankles so many times I have no ligaments left). They ARE heavier and a little less comfortable, but it's worth the tradeoff for me. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. A good product for the money."

Great Boot,July 6, 2009
By Rick21550from Oakland MD
"I purchased these for a NY Salmon fishing trip. These were my 1st pair of felt sole wading boots, & after some reasearch & knowing the other places I fish, I decided I needed studded felts. After owning these boots for about 6 months I LOVE them. Salmon fishing & river wading for small mouth the traction is Unbelievable! I give them 2 thumbs up!"

Cabela's Guidewear® Studded Felt Sole Wading Boot,June 30, 2009
By montanaflyfishing
"The boots were backordered for over three months. I got the boots just in time to fish Rock Creek during the Salmonfly hatch. This was high snowmelt water on slippery and slimy smooth rocks. The studded boots occasionally slipped on the dry boulders, but performed flawlessly in the tough conditions in the water. I have owned a lot of different wading boots through the years, both studded felt and regular felt. Any studded felt boots slip on the dry boulders a lot more than regular felt, but outperform in the wading conditions hands down. The ankle support and light weight were a real bonus. I loved the speed laces that allows quick insertion and removal. I fished all weekend and my feet were comfortable. I fish a lot, and am anxious to see how well these boots last. I think that ,so far, this is a real value for the money."

"HELLO ... I AM AN AVID FISHERMAN... I USUALLY TAKE A SIZE 10 IN MOST SHOES AND NORMAL BOOTS. SO I ORDERED A SIZE 11 FOR THE CHEST WADERS I BOUGHT. WADER BOOTS ARE VERY TIGHT WITH WADERS ON... MAYBE SHOULD HAVE ORDERED A SIZE 11 1/2 OR 12.
IT WOULD BE GOOD IF PRODUCT SELLER WOULD GIVE ESTIMATED SIZES FOR BOOT SIZE AS PER WADER SET PURCHASED.
I AM TRYING TO STRETCH BOOTS WITH A SHOE / BOOT STRETCHER. WILL IT WORK....????????????????????????
ALL OTHER ASPECTS OF MY ORDER ARE VERY GOOD.
OVERALL A HAPPY FISHERMAN... SHUCKS I WOULD BE HAPPY FISHING IN BARE FEET IF THE WATER WASN'T SO COLD.
