"Mags look good however did not work well at all. The springs hung-up causing rounds to jamb in the mag. The mags were easily distorted with light hand pressure. I was very disappointed and the returned merchandise cost me shipping charges in both directions!"

"The 10 rd magazines...were defective. When pulling out the clip from my sks....the magazine separated at the spot welds and then it fell apart. The second clip has the same spot welds.....and I'm afraid to use it."

"These were listed below Tapco stock for SKS. I believed would be great fit. They didn't fit at all. I re-ordered same item. Still not useful with Tapco rifle stock for SKS. Conclusion: mismatch with Tapco. Also tried using on original SKS wood stock. Again wouldn't work. These magazines fell out."

"I got two 50 rounders and the tang on the duck pill was over ground at the factory so the mags just fall out of the rifle. the only way to correct this problem is to build up the tang with a welder, which I don't have, and re grind it. useless..."

"I really wished I had taken the reviews seriously on this purchase. I heard so much about working on the guide lips to make it feed properly. No one ever mentioned all the grinding required for these to fit in the first place. I had to buy a dremel to file the duckbill to allow enough clearance for the mag to seat fully. Out of the pkg the duckbill was several mm higher on one side causing it to go in crooked. Once evened out I had to grind off the paint on the backside of the mag just so I could engage it fully and for the mag catch to latch. The feed lips were another story all together. For those previous reviewers I say you were all generous in your rating of this National disaster of a mag. There is one bright side, the mags are serving a new purpose. They are now holding up targets while I use my Tapco 20 rounder (unmodified and unfaltering) to shoot them with."
