"I can't begin to tell you how many bass, pike, walleye and trout these great lures have caught for me. Fish will not leave them alone. They don't just hit them, they inhale them. They are convinced they are food. Cabela's R&D did very well putting this together. The Glass Perch, Glass Blue Back and especially the Glass Black Back are very good, especially in clear water."

"I read the good reviews, and the bad, but to be honest, sometimes I wonder if we are using the same bait. This lure, especially in the glass colors, is ideal for clear water, cold water, or stressed fish. It cast well and has the proper action for this type of bait, not too much, and not too little. If the bait cost a lot more, then perhaps the hooks could be expected to be better, but they are matched quite well to this bat now. I would have given this bait a 5, but the color variations are a little too close - more diversity would be nice."

"Took my 17 year old son fishing 03/08/09.to a local private lake on my first cast bang, end of the day Dad had 7 LGMB, 3 Blue gills . Son with his Falcon ,shimano,braid you get the idea 0!. Great bait for lakes just remember cold water slow retrieve. When you think your going slow go slower!!!!"

"These lures are amazing...the rapala jointed lures cost twice as much and arent nearly as good. I own two in every color and have caught 5 bass over 6 pounds on them in the last year. I would recommend everyone to try any of the cabelas fisherman series lures."

"I've tried both the suspending and the floating models and I am unhappy with both. The tail action is almost non-existent which is the whole reason for buying this model. Tip--get the Real Image Plus series. Much, much better tail action. Different tail hinge on the Plus series. Much better."
