"The quality is good, but the strap adjustment loosens because the buckle is made of plastic and does not stay in place. I find the top loosens and needs to be adjusted every time I use it. The previous top I've used had stainless buckles but a poorer quality mounting hardware."

"I like the overall design and the fact that it is adjustable width makes it easy to fine tune. The only issue is that at that big of a size (110 width), the 7/8 inch aluminum feels a little flimsy. But we were out during pretty extreme gusts and a tornado warning on the 4th and it looks none the worse for wear. I'd buy this bimini again."

"Nice size Bimini for my 17'4" boat. I chose Grey and it was a nice color match. The instructions could be better. It took my wife and I two trys to get it right. But it did come apart easy and went back together well also. Works great on the boat.

"This top was easy to install. It has a simple adjustment to fit a wide range of boat widths. The stainless steel fittings are strong and appear they will last a long time. The top and frame are very easy to remove with two knob screws. It is very easy to raise and lower and the Solarskin top offers great shade from the morning and afternoon sun.
I would recommed this top to anyone looking for a quality Bimini top."

"Nice sturdy frame and fairly easy to assemble even though the directions were poor. The supplied 90 degree pivot mounts, I discovered will not fit a gunwale top surface that is not almost perfectly flat and parallel to earth (mine slopes @ 15 degrees). Following a call to verify the unspecified inside diameter of optional rail mounts offered in the Cabela's catalog, I ordered a pair of 01-0136 Bimini Top Jaw Slide Mounts to mount the assembly onto my existing 7'8" diameter rails."

"it sets up easily and hardware seems ok so far, nice looking, i might like more fabric support in the ceneter, but mainly the problem is that the adjustment straps do not hold , they come loose very quickly and your bimini is blowing around, you just have tyo add a clip or a knt and all is well, and tyhe bott fits perfect"

"I am very pleased with the complete line of products that Cabela's carries. The Bimini Top is of high Quailty and has a good solid frame. I also purchased the brackets that allow the base of the frame to slide fore and aft. This lets you move the top three feet for extra protection from rain or sun. This also works nice when you stow the top out of the way."

"Installation instructions could be a little clearer. However, assembling the top doesn't require rocket science. Quality & component fit & looks are good and the top didn't seem to hold in the heat like a "vinyl" top. I'd suggest also getting the sliding track for the pivot mounts to allow for a wider range of area where the top will be stored when collapsed."
