Interior pockets too small for tippet spools,

"After purchasing the Three Forks II vest on line, I discovered the interior pockets were too small for tippet spools. Most vests with similar pockets easily accomodate spools. After using the vest, I checked a Cabelas store in Montana and discovered the same situation with the small, medium and large sizes, but not the XL! Looks like either a quality control or design oversight. A customer service rep suggested using an external tippet spool holder. Nice thought, but adds to the extraneous things hanging from the vest when there appears to be a better alternative.
How about including a "pocket stretcher" with the vest so that it will be a superior product? Otherwise, it is a nice vest."

"Excelent vest at excelent price. Plenty of pockets to cary everything you need on the river. Only minor complaint is the zipper loop that holds the pull tab on all zippers don't close off. The first time out my leader brushed up against me a number of times while retying and almost every time got caught in the zipper loop. Just took a plyers to them all. Now no problems."

"overall vest has plenty of pockets, well designed,and can hold everything. drawbacks bottom left and right pocket zippers are bad design.(you will lose fly boxes if not careful.) the zipper goes to far down the side.When opening the zipper the pocket gets to wide. the only other drawback is the zipper brakes down after a while. good vest for the money."

"This vest is very nice . It has plenty of pocket space and is really comfortable. I have had two other cheap vest in past years that were uncomfortable on the back of my neck when the pockets are loaded. This vest is made for comfort when loaded with lures and power bait ect. ."
