"We went on an Unguided Caribou hunt on the North Slope of Alaska for 10 days...I slept great every night!! Having a good night of much needed sleep was very rewarding...specialy after taking 3 big Caribou bulls and having to carry all that meat across the tundra!!"

"My wife was a little bit concern about the comfort of it because of the thickness but was really impress the first night. We do not have the problem to inflated again a mattress before going to bed (because of the cold air). My wife is no longer jumping in bed when i'm turning, and with the velcro we still can feel it is a double bed. Stroring is easier. we had better Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's."

Sleep pads,
September 2, 2009
By augie12
from Lodi, CA
|
"We purchased two large pads to use in our mini RV. The dinette folds down into a bed and was very firm which made sleeping uncomfortable. The ability to adjust the firmness and to velcro them together was a plus and made sleeping much more comfortable. Storage is a problem in a small RV, but these roll up into their own bags and store easily."

backwoods maine with lots of roots and stuff,

"These sleeping pads were extremely comfortable and made our trip so much more pleasant. We have used less advanced pads in the past and these were remarkably superior. Easy to lay out, fill up at night and deflate for storage in morning."

pleasant dreams,

By longtimefisherman

"I bought two of these pads-- one for me and one for my 20 year old son-- to use initially on a raft trip in Alaska the first week in August. We pitched camp in lumpy, humpy tundra and on gravel bars with cobble-sized rocks. The pads were wonderful. I didn't feel a single rock or any other gouging item the entire trip. I won't say we slept like babies with the wind blowing 70 mph and my tent pole slapping the side of my head, but the pads were fantastic. Don't know if I'll carry the extra weight backpacking, but the comfort and insulation might be worth it, especially since I shivered all night on an air mattress in Slough Creek last October. Great product."

sleep tight,

By fanola

"comfy sleep pad! sometimes you have to lie on it and let it reinflate a bit more then, tighten the cap. works well on the ground or as a pad on the cot. I used two velcroed together and was having good dreams (in spite of the music going on all night). who wanted to get up in the morning? not me!"

Great Pad,
June 26, 2009
By Doctorslb1
from Spirit Lake, IA
|
"I bought the expanded size pad as I am above average size (6'5" 270 lbs). I used the pad on a trip to the Boundary Waters and it performed excellently. It gave me great cushioning for sleep, and I even used it on a rock out cropping for an afternoon nap a couple of times. I would certainly recommend this mat to anyone, especially bigger people."

excellent sleeping pad,
June 15, 2009
By HappyCamper01
from San Jose, CA.
|
"I found this pad to be all that was advertised and more. At present, I am using the pad every couple of days to lay on when sun bathing. I put a large beach towel on the pad and make a pillow out of a rolled up towel while tanning both sides to a timer.
I'm 6'1" and I workout regularly. This pad is long enough and wide enough for me. It's extremely comfortable. I put a couple of extra breaths of air in after it self-inflated. My pad is not exactly wilderness camping size, but then neither am I.
However, if I were wilderness camping, I would make a serious effort to take this pad with me.
For the moment, I'm looking forward to some truck camping. I like to photograph wild life and scenics while living out of my truck. I foresee no problems and this pad is going to go whereever I go.
If I needed another biggest and best pad, I would buy the same one again."

Larger pad is worth the extra money.,
December 2, 2008
By KimmiT

"The larger pad is best. We puchased one of both sizes, and the smller pad just did not seem as comfortable or thick (even though they re listed the same thickness). It held up very well to a long hunting trip."
