"I purchased the Cobra 325 VP VHF Radio and you could not ask for a better product. It has exceptional range and easy to use. Its light weight and the swinging clip is ideal when you clip it on the side for free movement. Great Product."

Not Bad for the Money,August 6, 2008
By Winginitfrom New Hampshire
"The Cobra 325 VP isn't a bad unit for the money. The only issue I have is it's reception. I purchased the unit mostly to monitor communications between fishing boats on area lakes, but too often I hear only one side of the conversation. From feedback with others, the problem is pretty common with hand held units in general. The moral of the story is that depending on your usage needs, a hand held is not a substitute for a regular radio with an 8' antenna."

Excellent Choice,May 6, 2008
By Encorefrom Hubbard Lake, MI
"I've always had larger units installed in previous boats, but with this new boat, I wanted a hand held. I feel that I couldn't have made a better choice. I've used Cobra's products in the long ago past and they performed then as they do now. I especially like the clarity of the sound. Now on my way to the "golden years", I require hearing aids. The sound is crisp and clear, even with my hearing problem. I made the right choice."

Cobra VHF Radio,February 7, 2008
By JamesH123from Rio Linda, Ca.
"This radio is all that it says it is. It is easy to program and use. Loud and clear with good reception. For an entry level radio it is well worth the entry level price and more. Great buy! Jim H. Rio Linda, Ca"

COMPLICATED,August 17, 2007
By BAILEY1from PA
"I purchased this radio to use on a sailing trip. I found the arrangement of buttons complicated and not very logical. The scan feature holds an active frequency for 10 seconds before continuing scanning. This was to much time in that you missed the start of additional communications when being referred to another channel. Another member in my party had a Cabela's brand CMR 270 and it worked much better than the Cobra and did not have as long of a pause in the scanning mode. I returned the Cobra and purchased the Cabela's model. The Cabela's model CMR 270 is made by Standard Horizon. The CMR 270 is much clearer and the button operations are more intuitive and better located."

Communication, It's a good thing.,June 19, 2007
By WManierfrom southern Illinois
"I purchased the Cobria 325 prior to a 8 day trip to Canada. During this trip my radio was on approximately 6 hours per day. To my amazement this radio never required recharging."
