Skip it!!!!!!,

By Snydedawg

"Unless you need a tent stake and a little heavy monofilament......... this is a useless tool!!!!
Can it possibly work, briefly and under specific circumstances?? Yes.
But I've yet to see it having any value whatsoever in the field.
I tried in vain to make it work..... thought it looked great in the vids. All I can say is unless you have gale force winds...... it is a PIECE!!!"

Works great on ducks!,
June 29, 2009
By 1clarky1
from Central flyway
|
"I used these decoys last year for several of my field duck hunts, they're lighter and easier to haul than a mojo and move better! Sucks them right in from long ranges. When they come in they're watching the reelwing instead of looking for hunters.. then POW! Try these things out!"

Kite Decoy,
November 15, 2008
By Rookiewood
from Muskogee, OK
|
"It works great once you get it in the air. It's not just a stationary mojo. It movesd side to side, up and down, and back and forth. The only problem I have with it, is it likes to float back down and you have to refly it every 5-10 minutes or so."

Killer decoy- Try the new model,
July 11, 2008
By CRCTX
from Matagorda, Texas
|
"These have been on the market for a couple years now. I have used them but the originals required alot of wind to stay up. The new model is stronger and lighter and is crazy how good it works on ducks and snows. The only hard part is keep the teal from hitting them. If you dont have these on a blue bird day you might as well stay home."

Reelwings,
April 10, 2008
By Franchi
from Ashland City TN
|
"Used the product several days last season in Missouri rice fields and when we had SUSTAINED winds it definitey sucked in the birds. The probelm was we only experienced a few days where we could fly it throughout the hunt. The larger snowgoose reelwing was easier to keep in the air than the duck version.
Adding line and flying it higher in the air currents seemed to help."

April 9, 2008
By manitobahunter
|
"I HAVE USED THESE DECOYS A FEW TIMES LAST YEAR AND HAD NO PROBLEM KEEPING THE FLYING. YES YOU DO NEED A GOOD WIND TO KEEP THEM UP, SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT THEN DON'T USE THEM. THEY REALLY ATTRACT THE BIRDS. AND AT LEAST BRING THEM IN WITHIN RANGE TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR SPREAD AND THEN SHOOT THEM. I WILL DEFINATELY LOOK FORWARD TO USING THEM NEXT YEAR. ALSO IF YOU THINK THEY ARE TO HEAVY THEN LOOK UP THEIR WEBSITE TO SEE ABOUT CUTTING THEM DOWN GOOD LUCK AND KEEP LOOKING UP"

By guzman

"This is an excellent late season action packed, bring movement to your set, decoy. Those weiry late season birds have been shot at for quite a few months and this is an edge that the hunter needs to bring those late season birds to within gun range."

To Heavy,
January 31, 2008
By EMasterDuck
from Western WA
|
"It worked great when it was up, but I could not get it to stay in the air. I hunt in Eastern & Western Wa, I set it up on three very stormy, windy days, it would stay up for ten minutes then fall, I would reset it, but ten minutes later it was down. When it was up ducks loved it, it just wouldn't stay up. I think it's to heavy."

Reel wings duck decoys,
January 29, 2008
By MarkDA52
from Sacramento Valley, California
|
"I found this product to be very easy to assemble and deploy. While using the ReelWing, gusts of wind reached approximately 35 MPH, and it still performed well. There is no doubt in my mind that it was the ReelWing that drew the birds in, and contributed to several successful hunts in the Sacramento Valley, California, this past season, for both ducks and geese."

Wasted money,
January 7, 2008
By savage270
from Southeast Missouri
|
"I bought the reel wings decoy at the start of the season. I have tried hunting with it now on five different hunts. The last time was with 20-30 mph winds. My buddy timed its flight and 15 seconds was the longest we could keep it in the air. I know now why they say to place the stake in the ground behind your hunting position. So you dont have to walk as far when you try and launch it time and time again. Save your money and just buy another dozen decoys."

Reel Wings,
January 7, 2008
By stoutgrad01
from wisconsin
|
"they work great for bringing in ducks. even brought ducks off the refuges. the only problem is the wind. if you have a pretty strong wind they work great but if its gusty then youre constantly having to throw them back up in the air and it gets frustrating at times."
