Attwood Portable Pump,August 27, 2009
By TJW53from Okemos, MI
"What a shoulder saver. Had always used a portable hand pump, a very labor oriented task but this little pump does the job. It is submersible as advertised and pumps strongly, lifting water out of the bottom of my fishing boat quickly. It never clogged up either. I used it extensively over the last month with all the heavy rain we have had and I am still on the original 3 D-cell batteries."

Portable Pump,May 5, 2009
By AkKellyfrom Kodiak Alaska
"This pump worked alright, and pumped an adequate amount of water for it's size and use. The problem was, even buying the best batteries, they lasted less than a half hour - not the 5 hours noted in the packaging. although it still would be handy for places you couldn't use a larger pump, or had no electricity, financially a better decision was to buy an electric pump due to the high cost of replacing the batteries. I previously had another battery run pump, and it did work for hours. I was very disappointed."

Attwood pump,November 30, 2008
By Satcommfrom MI
"I use this product to pump the water out of a layout boat at the end of each day. It works very well. By adding a short lenght of old garden hose to the pump I can slide it down to the foot area. I'd recommend it to any layout hunter."
"This thing can really pump some water. Great battery life. Just have to be careful sometimes the plastic hose will pull out. But you just have to unscrew the bottom and push it back in place."

portable bilge pump,March 17, 2008
By norahfrom Steuben County, New York
"This little pump is pretty neat. It moves water quite quickly, and that's what I need. I don't have a boat, I'm using it to pull water out of a creek into a tank, and it seems to be doing the job well. I used to have to lug water up a steep bank to camp, now I can just fill a tank from the creek and forget the wet feet!"

Not First Class,November 10, 2007
By KRB4
"I purchased this pump because my live well drain is not in the bottom. I thought this would pick up the remaining water left in the live well but it the way it's manufactured does NOT allow it to pull water to "zero" clearance. I would not recommend it for this purpose."
"EXCELLENT LITTLE PUMP. BATTERIES REALLY LAST, AND I WAS SURPRISED AT THE PUMPING POWER OF THE BATTERY OPERATED PUMP. I GOT IT INITIALLY TO PUMP OUT MY TURTLE AND AQUARIUM TANKS, BUT I CAN SEE IT IS CAPABLE OF MUCH MORE."

Awesome!,August 13, 2007
By CampingPegfrom Oregon camper
"This is absolutely the most back saving device I have found in years! We now are having to dry camp and haul in water trying to funnel it into our 5th wheel. Well, as we are beginning to age...it was becoming harder. I found this product..it was a great price and was so easy to use and lasted two weeks on one set of batteries. I think it actually pumped close to 200 gals of water on that one set of batteries! What a find! My husband was mighty grateful for the tiny little pump that did a mighty big job!"

great job for the price,August 7, 2007
By gonifrom cherry hill, nj
"this product worked very well. I kept my boat in the water for a week for the first time. Usually I trailer it daily. This pump had no prblem emptying the bilge at any time. Took a few waves over the stern while fishing in the ocean. No problem, just hit the switch, whala the bilge is empty. Had a major rain storm while the boat was docked. Just hit the switch, whala the bilge was pumped out. This is no subsitute for any automatic bilge pump if you store your boat in the water year round. But for the price, this is a great temporary or emergency unit. Can be used around the house for other emergencies as well. Definitly worth it. Mike"

bailing made easy,June 18, 2007
By robert1522from Spokane, WA
"Once we put our boat into the water it stays there all summer. It is a small fishing boat with no cover and after a few days of heavy rain it is quite full of water. The portable pump is all we need to place in the boat and the water is gone."

Atwood Waterbuster Portable pump,June 15, 2007
By wefarmasmidgenfrom Clear Creek MT
"The Atwood Waterbuster Portable pump was purchased to use for pumping shower water from a 5-gal bucket. It works as expected. I also used it to pump out my 35gal pond and it performed better than expected. I would have to say it does what I purchased it for and I would recommend it to others for this purpose."

Solid pump,May 9, 2007

"Excellent product and it moves water as advertised. Runs a long time on the batteries and works well either submersed or on floating. Well made product, easy to use, and worth the money in my experience with it."

Great product,April 24, 2007
By thenelsfrom Finger Lakes New York State
"This product did exactly what I wanted it to. Since my boat is stored outside with a tarp it collects rain and melting snow water. No matter how I've covered it it still manages to collect water. The use of the Attwood solves the problem. It's nice to buy a product and it does what it's suppose to."
