Countless hours of development and testing have led us to create a line of tactical scopes specially
engineered for rifles in several calibers. With these scopes, there is no need to guess what the proper
holdover on a target is. You simply range your target and dial in the scope for that distance. We designed
these scopes using an average of the most popular loads for each caliber. Each scope comes with
interchangeable turrets for different calibers that can be changed with an allen wrench. These durable
scopes meet our stringent quality-control standards and have superior fully coated optics, better light
transmission and greater resolution. No other scope will, however, match the versatility these scopes
feature. Mounting tube is 1". Finger-adjustable windage and elevation with trajectory compensation turret.
Each scope is available in four power models with some models featuring a side focus parallax adjustment
for ultrafast target acquisition. Each scope is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Each scope includes
turrets, turret carrying bag and an allen wrench. Big Game model has seven of the most popular big-game
caliber turrets calibrated for bullet drop out to 400 yards and beyond; this scope will prove its versatility.

150-grain, .30-06 165-grain, .30-06 180-grain, .300 Win. mag. 180-grain, .308 Winchester 150-grain.

Big Game Tactical Scope,November 14, 2009
By Steveof1from Petaluma, CA
"Nice enough scope, easy to sight in. Accurate out to two hundred feet at range, didn't have longer range to test. Optics not great. Hard to get clear image at 9 power and up and very poor eye relief. Had to return because I couldn't get scope mounted back far enough for clear eye relief without having to scoot up unnaturaly close to back of scope. Used Leopold mounts made for rifle. I'm sure it would be a fine general scope for hunting if your rifle would allow it to mount far enough back. I returned it for a Leopold vx-3. Much better clearity and eye relief."

He said I'd like it!!,September 15, 2009
By dreamjobtomfrom Lucile,Id
"my brother has been useing the center fire model on his G2 contender carbine (in 223) for a couple of years now and has had only good things to say about it.He did say that he was planning to buy another one with side focus because he thought it would be better. That is why I bought the pair with side focus. the center fire was a gift to him! This one went on a 30.06 Browning A bolt that is more then a little odd.If you look at all the Browning info they don't make the A bolt Medallian with a 26" barrel.I wanted a long range rifle and a scope to match and I can say, without a second thought,I have them! I can dial up 650 yds and hit the coyote at 800 yds. This is the Idaho canyon land rifle I've wanted!!"

I like it.,August 17, 2009
By LieutenantMacfrom Litchfield County, CT
"This scope is a bargain for the money. Good, clear optics and holds up well to magnum recoil. Was easy to zero, nice positive adjustments. It is not a Leupold but for a lower cost scope it will be very hard to beat."

Easy to use,August 3, 2009
By JJCO09from Grand Junction Colorado
"I have been to the firing range twice now with this scope. I barrel sighted the gun then started the fine tuning. It took me 6 shots to get it on at 50 yards. Moved to a 100 yards, took 6 shots to get it sighted in. I worked with the elevation at 300 and 400 yards. Found that my ammo carried a little higher then expected so cut down the distance on the scope. Even so, all but a couple shots hit their mark out to 400 yards. I made minor adjustments for windage and it worked great. The second time I went to the firing range my son watched my hits with a spotting scope. Only missed shots were at 560 yards according to the range finder. I adjusted my shot and hit the target at that distance. Not bad for a 30-06, an inexpensive scope and a old man! A couple more times at the range and I should be very comfortable with the scope. Looking forward to elk and deer season here in Colorado."

Excellent Scope,July 14, 2009
By Ed32763from Orange City, Florida
"This scope is everything you will find in a scope costing several hundreds of dollars more. And, I know because I own more than a dozen high-priced scopes, and this scope is equal to or better than those scopes. I plan on replacing my other scopes with Cabela's scopes as soon as I am able."

Cabela's Turrent Scope,July 1, 2009
By turkeybboyfrom southern, Illinois
"The scope changes the point of impact for almost every shot. Difficult to figure out all the settings. the AO for 100yards to 500 yards needs an allen wrench every time you change, not good for the field. Save your money for something else that works."

Tactical Scope,June 22, 2009
By Patton58from Templeton, IA
"I read a review on this web site prior to buying this scope, where the individual had a hard time getting the reticle to line-up with the bullets point of impact. He was right. I own Leupolds, Zeiss, Weavers, Burris, Bushnells, Super Snipers and they were all a snap in comparison to this scope. Appears to be well built. The reticle is finally on point-of-aim, after 20+ rounds. Will zero the scope tomorrow at 100yds with Hornady 165gr SST."

Decent Scope,June 16, 2009
By tg0311from Avid whitetail hunter in Southern, NJ
"I bought this scope and put in on a Remington 700 in 30.06. I put the rifle in a makeshift vise and sighted in at 100 yards with my old scope still on. Leaving the rifle in the vise, I removed the old scope and attached the Big Game scope and dialed it onto the target hoping that the vise kept the rifle on target. This was just to make sure it was on paper on the first shot. I was able to put 3 rounds on center with just 5 shots. After removing the turrets and replacing them on the 100 yard zero position, I shot 3 round groups at 100 yards changing the turret settings in approximately 50 yard intervals to observe bullet movement had consistant 1 inch groups. I liked what I saw and moved over to the 300 yard range and shot a couple of groups. My smallest group was about 2 inches and the biggest was about 4 inches. Not too bad for an inexpensive scope and a non tactical thin barreled hunting rifle. My only knock on it is that at longer ranges, the crosshairs are a bit too thick and pretty much just covered the target like a frontsite post on a AR does. I'd prefer the crosshairs to be a lot thinner. As with the scopes name, if your hunting big game and don't need 1/2 moa accuracy, I'd buy this scope in a heartbeat. If your looking for Marine Corps sniper accurracy, you will want to spend another couple of bucks."

Awesome,March 27, 2009
By sportyrangerfrom Kremmling, Colorado
"I sighted my rifle in at 400 yards with this scope before a Montana whitetail hunt. I bought this scope until I could afford a better one. I found my 145" buck at 189 yards. I set the scope to my rangefinder's yardage and shot. DEAD ON! Good at the range and just as good in the field. You can't beat the price. I changed my mind. I was going to upgrade to my dream scope this year but my confidence is too high with the 6x18-40 SF. I am staying with this one!"

Good scope, with reservations,March 21, 2009
By 1longshotfrom WI
"I mounted a Cabela's 3X12 Tactical scope on my Remington 700ADL, 30-06. The rifle has a 2.5 weight ER Shaw barrel and a Timney trigger, set at 1.5 lbs. It is a tack driver with a handload feturing AA4350 and a Hornaday 150 grain SPBT. I used the .30-06/ 165 grain turret, as it matched the flight path of the 150 grain load the best. I sighted in at 100 yds., and set the turret at that setting. I moved to 200 yards, and found the bullets landing a foot high. At 300 yards, they were high, off the paper. I counted the clicks between the 100 yd. setting and the 200 yd. setting and found that there were far too many. I resighted the scope for 200 yards and reset the turret. I normally sight in at 200 anyhow. I turned the range turret up to 300 and fired at a 3X6 inch steel swinger and hit it at will. I put up 3 ballons about half blown up, about 3 inches in dia. at 200 yards and 3 more at 300. I shot 2 at 200, dialed up to 300, shot all three, dialed back to 200 and cleaned up the last one. I will put one of these scopes on my AR, and my M700 in .223. I can't wait to try the ADL/Cabela's tactical combo in WY for 'lope in October. The only thing I would ask Cabela's for is a customizable turret for range. I shoot about everything from .22 hornet to .45-70, and about all the good stuff in between, and the limited selection of turrets will limit the scopes usefulness on calibers like the 6.5 Swede."

No ballistics data for .308 bullet,March 1, 2009
By Jerry2from Idaho
"The instructions for the scope include a ballistic chart for all of the bullets covered by the scope except the .308 in 150 grain. Just so happens that is what I bought it for. The scope seems to be quite nice for the price but I guess I'll have to figure out a load in 150 grain for my .308 since Cabelas doesn't provide it!!"

Great Scope,January 4, 2009
By CoyoteStalker270from Anza, CA
"This scope has a crystal clear F.O.V. and is spot on in it's yardage adjustments. Completely takes the guess work out of hold-overs. Magnification is also great. Knobs are a little stiff, but I'm sure they will lighten up over time. Overall a great scope and have already recommended it to two friends."
