"As far as line goes, i was impressed. It has good knot strengh, a very hard smooth finish for excellent abrasion resistance, and I found it castable and low stretch for solid hook sets.
I bought the pink...and this line is not "no-viz" by any definition. In fact, it is as opaque and solid pink colored as you could make a line. Generally, i tie on a heavy fluoro clear leader to all my rods anyways so the mainline color is irrelevant. This pink line used by itself is about as invisible as a neon sign. My 4 star rating is strictly for the pink product being a good quality line with qualities we most look for in a line, but i would rate its visibility like I would a braided line.
I would recommend this if you normally tie on heavy mono leaders like i do, use wire leaders, or don't mind direct braid to lure presentations. If you do not, skip this and go straight to a clear line"

"Just got back from a smallmouth trip in Maine, and the line performed great. I had no problem bringing in fish with this line. The casting ability was better than expected, as this was my first time trying Flourocarbon line. You can go directly to lures or worm rigs with it and feel comfortable with the visibilty."

"This line at this price is a no brainer. It works best on baitcasters pitching to heavy cover. It worked OK on Spinning Reel but don't go over 10 pound line. It will still take attention on a Spinning Reel, so keep an eye on it for loops. It is really good for the visibitly of the line, any bite or movement is very east to detect."

"I purchased two 600 yard spools of 10lb test Cabela's No-Vis Xtra Fluorocarbon line to use on a spinning reel for shaky heads. This particular fluorocarbon line is very supple, handles much better than most others, and is tough as nails. Most fluorocarbon lines requires special attention when tying knots but I've not had a single failure with a simple, traditional Palomar knot. I highly recommend it!"

"I spooled up a Diawa Sol bait caster today with 10# Pink Cabelas Fluorocarbon and went jig fishing. Excellent castabilty and handling. Better than P-Line Fluorocarbon or Evolution, Berkeley Vanish, Bass Pro Fluorocarbon line in that weight class. I was also impressed at how easy it was to tie a knot and it's abrasion resistance on chunk rock and Quagga Mussels.
The pink color was nice to have in low light and the one jig fish I caught wasn't bothered by the color. I am fishing in water with clarity to about 30 ft. The color disappears at the depth where a white spinner bait goes out of sight"

"This line in 8 pound test is the worst line I've ever bought. I've never had "back-lashes" on a spinning reel (Shimano)! This stuff doesn't stop unwinding when the lure hits the water. It has the body of straw- I had to re-tie swivels 4 times- After 3 days of fishing, it's going in the trash. Buy a name-brand product. A second identical rod and reel, spooled with a name brand flurocarbon functioned perfectly."
