Construction a little off,

"The overall quality of the product is good, however, the tubes on the rod holder are not all parallel in other words they're not straight. Asthetically they are nice but because of the bent tubes when rods are placed in them the rods come together at the tips. Very annoying!!"

"I bought this as a gift for my Dad. I had purchased a set of the 6-rod racks for my airboat about a year ago and have been very happy with them. They look great and mount without a lot of hassle. No more having to strap the rods down or step over them laying in the bottom of the boat."

"I recently purchased two rod racks for a small fishing boat that i have. The rod racks are built well with nice welds and serve their purpouse. The only problem that i ran into is that the hardware you are provided with leaves a little to be desired. Four phillips head machine screws, washers and lock nuts. it's hard not to strip the head on the last one ofcoarse. Should've used allen heads or torques head. Change the hardware and you are in business."

"These are very low quality. They are made with aluminum pipe cut to length, pvc pipe bonded to the top. I could make these myself for pennies on the dollar. I returned them."

"The rod rack is well constructed & easy to install. I fish saltwater only & the rod rack does not have Gimbal pins for my rods. My reels sit on the top of the rod holders . I had to put gimal pins in to keep the reels off of the rod holder tops. My recommendation is to have the manufacturer put gimbal pins on the racks & put a little more space between rod holders to really improve this product."

"VERY STURDY AND LOOKS GOOD, BUT THE GROOVES AREN`T DEEP ENOUGH TO LOCK IN YOUR REELS. THE REELS AND RODS BOUNCE ALL OVER THE PLACE. WHEN YOU HAVE EXPENSIVE ROD AND REELS THEY SHOULD LOCK IN THE ROD HOLDER AND THIS ROD HOLDER DOESN`T DO IT."

"These are good, sturdy rod racks, but the black tips should be made from a softer, pliable rubber. The hard plastic has sharp edges that are hard on equipment, and could possibly even cause injury in rough seas. Soft, rubber add on covers would be an option that I would be interested in."

"Product works for what it was intended for mounted on rear of my 19 ft hard top. Good to stow rods after hookup keeps unused rods away from action. I gave it a fair rating, rod tubes had a lot of scratches and a big dent on the crossbar also had to drill a hole and put a pin at bottom of rod tube to keep rod butt from protruding.
