"i like this lure. i'm a grouchy, old fisherman who thinks this new lure ROCKS! out of the box it caught me a catfish, a walleye and a nice largemouth (3lb) on a hard-bitten lake. featuring a tight shimmy, it works on medium spincasting gear with 8lb test. color? that is a secret, however, you never go wrong "matching the hatch"."

"Fishing Ohio river from shore west of Pittsburgh over Memorial day weekend, 2009. Caught everything with a number 7 bleeding shad original! 1 Sauger, 1 Walleye, 8 Striped bass (including a nice 26"!), 5 smallmouth, a big shad, 1 white bass and a rock bass! Unreal! I even got a 22" flathead catfish on it! This lure gets down below the tail race turbulence to where the fish are lurking. I'm hooked. I have all catches on videos to prove it!"

"My 7 year old son wanted a Cabela's gift card for Christmas. Upon getting them for Christmas we had to go to Cabela's the next day so he could spend them. He loves to fish and decided to get some of the Rappala Minnow raps like I have. He picked out the #9 bleeding copper flash and #9 hot tiger. I tied the hot tiger on for him last night and on about his third cast he caught a 23" musky. Not a trophy musky by any standard, but a huge deal for a 7 year old kid. He loves to use the Rappalas as they are easy for him to cast and reel in and now have provided a life long memory for him. These are some of the more expensive minnow crank baits on the market, but worth every cent when you have a son that is so excited about landing his first musky."

"this lure is freaking amazing in the spring of last year i bought alot of new lures i didnt really know what was a good brand or not and so i picked rapala ,and picked 4 out, and got some spinners didnt get anything on the spinners but got tons on the rapala's the minnow is insane ive caught everything on it smallmouth bigmouth crappie sunnys rockeys everything im so suprised by it and now thats all i buy is rapalas i love there lures"
