"I have had a few pairs of danner boots, and I put them to the test every day. I have been satisfied with them until the last pair I bought. The stiching that holds the sole on had torn after a six week period of use. We'll see how this new pair holds up....if not-danner will lose my business."

"They are great! This is not my first pair and I will keep buying them. I work out side all day everyday in the mudd and water,snow, I weld in them and climb all over Machinerie and my feet stay dry and hav'nt burnt the stitching out,and I dont use spats. My feet dont hurt and neither does my back. Wonderful boots."

"I've had them for about a month now and so far they are the best pair of boots i've owned. I've had them in mud, snow, and even stood in water up to my ankle for 2 hours while core drilling a concrete wall and my feet were dry. Of course i oiled them up again that night, they get wet a lot at work i've been oiling about once a week"

"Wow!! By far the most comfortable boot I have wore today. I have been through alot of work boots and these rates 10 out of 10. I am an electrical lineman therfore I'm outside everyday climbing poles and what not. Although if your going to climb (alot) I would not recommend these. Thay do not have a steal shank. My feet use to sweat alot, but after a 1 year and counting, not a drop of sweat and they are still as comfortable as day 1."

"I bought these for my hubby to wear in the barn. They are VERY SLIPPERY in snow and on ice. They are not very warm for walking in the snow when hunting. (I understand the grams are lower than what he is used to though.) He was not happy with these."

"I bought these boots less than a year ago due to the reputation of being a quality boot. I use them to climb frequently, the boots are comfortable with the soft gortex linning. Although the stitching has come apart and exposed the the linning on the sides of both boots from wearing gaffs. I would expect more quality from a trusted name. Good boot for light duty knocking around in. Would expect more than a year of service. Next pair will be rain force. I guess you get what you pay for."

"I bought these boots around three and a half years ago, i have wore them just about every day for work, camping and hunting. after over three years i cleaned them up and applied danners black boot dressing and my dad thought i bought a new pair of boots, they still look great! although they do need to be re-soled now, but i live in sw washington where it rains 9 months of the year and i can honestly say that my feet have never gotten wet while wearing these boots. if they ever do wear out i will buy another pair of the same boots."

"these boots stood up to iowa's harsh winter, spring flood, and scorching summer. i'm a concrete finisher, so i can punish boots. i walk long miles on concrete, work days in mud and water, and even jump in wet concrete with them. they've held together well considering. the vibram sole is great. the tripple stiched seams are great. some of mine are starting to go but two out of three is ok. gortex is doing ok. the only problem i've had is the thin leather between the tongue and the laces. i have a hole in mine and consequently i ruined the gortex booty in that boot. overall a good boot for the money."

"I purchased these Danner Quarry Boots as a like-in-kind replacement for a pair I have worn every day for four years. I purchased my first pair in Kodiak Alaska because of their waterproof properties. These boots are also without a doubt the most comfortable boots I have worn. Usually boots of this rugged nature require a break-in period before they become comfortable. Not the Danner Quarries! They were comfortable from day one. Back to the original reason I purchased the boots...waterproof. After four years of wear, they still keep my feet dry; even in an environment that has an annual rainfall average of over 200 inches."

"I purchased these for work and wore them about 3 months and they started leaking pretty bad. I sent them back to cabela's and they were very helpful in getting me a new pair. It took me a while to get both pairs broken in, and when you first get them the soles are really slick, but after of few days of wear they seem to get some better traction. I also like these boots because they are very very lightweight for the size and durability of these boots. I took away a star because of the leaking problem, but I think I just got a fluke pair and haven't had any trouble since."

"These boots were purchased after reading numerous testimonials on comfort, waterproof ability, and last. Several of these explained how hard the individuals work so I was expecting 2 years of wear. My dissappointment was that they only lasted 10 months. Other quality brands easily make it a year. For me comfort and waterproofing was excellent. Other Danners may very well be better. To be fare, the boots I had were a different sole (possibly why they changed?) I hope this helps."

"My honest opinon will be at the end of the life for these boots, they are drug through dirt everyday at work and in the past have gotten 2-3 work seasons, out of Danner Boots, hope to have the same outcome with this style...generally the leather around the toes get worn out. "Very comfortable and very supportive. I haven't had a chance to utilize the gore-tex yet but I try to keep them covered and oiled anyway since I'm in masonry. My last boots were Red Wings and they lasted over 2 years. I hope these do the same!"
"Iv owned five pair of Danners over the years. Iv tried the Quarry work boots and will never own another pair of Danners both pair leaked real bad. Sence Danner was taken over by another co. the quality just isn't there. The Danners that iv gotten in the past wore out before they leaked. Not now brand new boots less than a month wet feet. Would'nt spend another dime on them!!! Pat C."
