Perfect for our 5th wheel,

"We were looking for a small weather station for use while camping in our 5th wheel. This weather station works perfect. Other stations were too large and took up valuable counter space. Some reviewers complain the display is too small and hard to read. We simply pick the station up to view the weather - no problem!"

Weather Station doesn't handle weather,

"Installed this product in my hunting cabin expecting to have outside temperature and weather trends to allow clothing selection for day's hunt. Worked great for about 1 day. Even with sensor mounted under the cabin completely out of any direct rainfall, the unit did not like the humidity of the Alabama air. Within 1 day, was not transmitting--even though it is labeled as weather resistant. Dried out inside and returned to it's outdoor location, worked for 5 days at a time before it ran it's "12 month batteries" down. After two times of replacing the AA batteries in the remote sensor and completely resetting the main unit because is has to have the batteries removed to reset the remote sensor encoding--I was very familiar with the entire procedure. After two complete changes of batteries in the remote sensor in two weeks, the unit just decided to quit and not give me any further trouble--sans any outside temperature information. Would definitely NOT recommend this unless you merely want a high priced electric alarm clock."

"I bought this as a gift for my wife and she is very amused with the little boy that puts more clothes on as it gets colder and less clothes when the temp goes up. This product is very accurate and is well built and easy to set up and use."

"Overall a good unit. It takes a bit of "labor" to get everything set, but worth the time. So far, all the readings seem true and the quality good. The unit could use a stronger transmitter to pick-up the signal from Colorado to adjust time. I had to set the unit outside to get a good signal. Otherwise it is a good unit and I would recommend purchasing batteries at the same time, b/c they are not included."

Reliable weather station.,

"Over the years, I have bought several wireless weather stations. All of them (different manufacturers) would not broadcast some informaiton or had other problems. This Lacrosse unit has worked flawless for several weeks. It appears to be a much better unit than the norm. The only negatives are they tried to pack too much information on the small screen. The diplay letters are small and hard to read unless you are close."

"The sunrise sunset feature won't connect and this was the primary reason I bought this model. Lacrosse customer service was of no help. The wireless outside temperture works OK."

"I just love the wireless weather station. It is very accurate and I always know the temperature inside & out. The remote went up outside with a single screw and the base station was easy to set. You can't go wrong having one for youself. (Winky, Lincoln, De)"

Better than the girl on TV,

"The unit has been very accurate, This is the third Weather Station I have owned, and has been the most accurate, and more accurate than the girl on TV. The only dissapointment is I wish the remote temperature sensor had a little more range. Other than that I would have no problem recommending this weatherstation. I have based most of my outdoor activities by with this unit this year, and been accuratley prepared for whatever the element, Thanks for the good product."
