frozen precipitation and rain. The inner tube is graduated to the nearest inch with .01" intervals and an
overflow slot for downpours up to 11". Clear plastic construction provides a see-through design so the
gauge is very easy to read. Mounting bracket is included.

"I have been keeping rain records for years...I had this same rain gauge for at least 15 years but it just got old and weathered...I was so happy to find it at Cabelas...I have tried a few others over the years, but this I find is the most accurate."

"THIS IS NOT A TOY. It's a real professional wx tool. Electronic rain guages included with weather stations can and do freeze up. This is much more accurate. I make daily wx reports via ham radio to NWS and I'm much more confident in my precip reports using this guage. My elevation is over 7,200' and I remove the inner tube and cap when it's below freezing. If the contents are frozen I thaw the large tube in hot tap water and measure the contents in the smaller tube that stays inside.The instructions suggest doing this to prevent breaking the unit. If you need a unit more accurate than the electronic ones this is the one to get. Great value for price."

"I've had one of these for about 10 years now. It is a no nonsense gauge that needs no batteries, no electricity, no menus to set. It has performed flawlessly for it's entire life. The only maintenance is a cleaning a couple times a year. Very durable."
