Engineered specifically for use in ice-fishing shelters and cabins, this propane-fueled, vent-free heater will warm up to 300 sq. ft. for up to 30 hours using a single 20-lb. propane cylinder. Equipped with a 10-ft. hose and regulator, the unit is certified for indoor use. No electricity is needed to operate Mr. Heater, and it comes with the hardware for wall mounting. It comes fully assembled and ready to mount. 10,000 BTU max output. Wall mount unit only. Not to be used as a free-standing unit. Hose and Regulator included. For use with Propane(LP) only.

Great Little Heater, November 3, 2008

"I installed this heater into my 16' travel trailer that is permanently mounted on blocks at hunting camp in North East Michigan. Installation is quick and well documented in the instructions. It takes MUCH longer to bleed the air from the gas line than the instructions state to get the pilot lit. It starts up on the first "click" of the ignitor and you can feel the heat instantaneously.
Heat is on constantly without any type of thermostat however and the trailer gets very, very warm......from the ceiling down. It can be 85 degrees at the ceiling and 40 at the floor. I have added a small 12V fan to my ceiling to better distribute the heat - I run this off a medium sized trolling battery - lasts for 4 days or so.
Used this heater in a different trailer last december during muzzle loader season and the outside temp got down to -12 deg. farenheit and the heater had a tough time keeping it comfortable - dont get me wrong - it was much warmer inside than OUTSIDE!!!!! Mr. Buddy would do themselves (and us) a great service to add bigger units to their line up with more features - like the infra-red heat like thier smaller Buddy heaters have....or a bigger unit for bigger spaces.
I love mine....and you cant have it!"

"This heater probably works fine at sea level, but at higher elevations flame will not stay on. This is covered in the owner's manual in small print, so if you are going to use this heater above 4500ft, you might consider something else. P.S. I also own a Little Buddy which is a great product."
