"I've bought more than my share of cleaning kits in my days but this is the ONE that fills all my cleaing needs in a single kit.Where the others claimed to be an all in one they always lacked something(top notch QUALITY) It works great and is easy to use and most important its a SUPERIOR QUALITY PRODUCT that will last a liftime and longer.
do yourself a favor and don't spend money on anything but an Otis cleaing system kit!"

"I had a bunch of mismatched cleaning equipment. Hand me downs so to speak. I was looking for a good kit that would serve my needs for various calibers. Man, what a sweet system. The DVD was informative. I started to re-clean all my guns and found that although I "thought" I had cleaned them, they were filthy.The OTIS system cleaned them to like new condition, and the system is so easy to use. What a buy."

"I was looking for a really good cleaning kit for my shot guns, rifles and pistols.
Of course I came directly to Cabelas and found a nice selection. After researching for a bit I ended up deciding on the OTiS Elite.
I just received in the mail today and was very nicely surprised. This kit is put together extremely well. Nice tools for cleaning, dvd to show hands on use, every gauge for shot gun included and encased brushes as so they are not flopping all around getting messy.
This is really something I cherish alot and feel good giving my firearms a good Saturday night cleaning knowing Im giving them the best care possible.
I also found this same kit to be cheaper here then on the OTiS site or other sites. Thanks Cabela's you guys rule!"

"we use this kit on ar-15, pistols,and bolt action rifles .
Read the instructions on how to use the patches and you wont get them stuck. It takes a little practice but it is really a good system for cleaning , once you figure it out cleaning your guns is a snap."

"A lot of tools in a very well organized package! Everything has a spot and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better assortment of cleaning utilities in one case ... and at such a reasonable price too!
The DVD is kind of silly but hey ... if that is the only thing I have to complain about then that's not bad at all!
BUY & TRY! I'm a first time gun owner & buyer at this point in time and there was NO BUYER'S REMORSE!"

"A good system . Takes a little time to get the patches right. you still need a rod for when a patch gets stuck ( and it will, especially when you first use it). The small field kit is a great feature. I have used this heavily for a couple of years and the quality is good"

"Nice to have almost everything you need in one kit. Great to be able to clean rifles and shotguns from breech to muzzle without having to disassemble the gun. Otis claims patches have 6 different cleaning surfaces, there are six ways to attach the patch but you only get about three uses before you need to use a new patch."

"The Otis Elite cleaning kit is no doubt one of the best you'll find, when they say it cleans every and any gun they mean it, it will clean everything from a pellet or B.B. gun all the way up to a .50 cal. and everything in between, including Muzzle loaders. I needed a new kit and was unsure of the kit I wanted and was looking and reviewing for a while, even though it was a more than I wanted to spend I finally decided on the Otis Elite and now that I have it and have used it alot I'm very glad I did, if you are serious about guns and gun care you need this kit, it's well worth the money."

"Overall a very nice product of high quality. Everything you need is organized into a compact storage bag. I particularly like the small round range bag where I can pack just the caliber I'm using at the range. The chemicals do the job of cleaning all the copper fouling and gun powder residue from the gun. It does come with a DVD of instructions which helps the first time user get aquanted with the "slightly" different procedure for cleaning guns from the traditional way of cleaning. The one negative would be the availabilty of buying the special cleaning patches only from Otis, but this is of minor concern. All and all this is one nice cleaning kit and Cabela's did a nice job of making sure my order was complete and delivered in a timely manner. Thanks. JGJO"
