"I ordered this phone a few weeks ago. It is a nice phone and well built but I was a bit decieved. This is an all electronic phone. The ringer visible on the outside is just a piece of plastic. It is not a bell. The ring is one of those electronic rings and does not resemble a bell sound. It does seem to work fine. One note to those who may have DSL - if you have a DSL convertor on your wall phone connection you may need to come up with something to allow the phone to rest snugly against the wall as the extra width of the wall plate will make the phone stand out quite a bit.

All in all a decent phone with the above exceptions noted."
