Cotton Cordell's most popular walleye lure, the Wally Diver, now has even more fish-enticing action with the addition of a jointed body. Like the original, the jointed Wally Diver gets down in a hurry and has a tight wiggling action. The jointed body adds motion and suggests a crippled baitfish, which triggers strikes even when fish are unwilling to commit to other lures. It can be cast or trolled effectively for largemouth, smallmouth and walleyes. Per each.
Size: 2-3/4", 1/4 oz.

"I really like this walleye diver for trolling. It has great action and I had results immediately when i switched to it from spinners and live bait. I had more luck with the chartruse and black/silver. Try it"

Jointed Wally Diver,January 30, 2008
By CWH4from Glens Falls, NY
"I have been using the Cotton Cordell Jointed Wally Diver for Smallmouth bass on the upper Hudson River for 2 years and have found it to be very effective. It has an excellent swimming motion and attracts bass as well as pickerel and perch. I look forward to trying it on walleye in Canada this summer. Started with the Perch color and will be stocking up with other colors as well. I have always thrown a lot of Rapalas and find the Jointed Wally Diver to be a nice addition to my crankbait box."

"Great lure, tight wiggle, good suspending. 4 stars, I would have given it 5, but it does tends to hang the hooks together."

Jury Still Out,January 1, 2008
By RapalaManfrom Wheatfield, Indiana
"I love the looks of these lures, and I think I just need to have the kind of success that I had with the regular Wally Divers for me to have the confidence in these lures. The colors are great too. One of these days I will troll one of these against a regular Wally Diver of the same color and see how they stack up. Have not had any trouble casting these. And they run very true when casting or trolling. I will put these to more of a test this spring."

Catching Walleye,August 21, 2007
By CaptCharliefrom Madison, IN
"I was trolling Lake Erie in 32 feet of water and this lure would not run deep enough. Therefore, I ran the lures behind cannon balls and directional divers. Using these methods, the Jointed Wally Diver outfished all of my other tackle."

Jointed wally divers,August 7, 2007
By fishingfreak01from Haverhill, Ma
"The jointed wally divers are a great bait for trolling but they are tough to cast with. When casting them the hooks get fowled on each other frequently. Other than this they are very productive baits."

Jointed walleye diver,November 21, 2006
By pikeslayerfrom Western CT
"The original walleye diver is a great lure for both smallmouth bass and walleye, but the new jointed version is better in certain situations. I've found that it seems more effective in warm weather while moving it fast, and cold weather while just barely moving it."
