"This Air Gun seems to be a quality instrument. Sighting in took considerable effort, but after firing almost 200 rounds, the gun is now consistent at 40 yards. I was very disappointed in the instructions included with the gun. No information on how to maintain it was included. I will contact Cabela's to see if they have any maintenance instructions. Overall, it is a very good gun for the cost."

"I ordered this gun and it showed up the other day. It is a very appealing air rifle! I mounted the scope and took it outside to test it out. It shot some pretty erratic groups for the first couple hundred pellets but the more pellets that i shot out of it the better the groupings got. It looks like a real rifle not like the big bulky clunkers that some of the companies make, it also has a fair bit of power. I used it on one of my .22 cal spinning targets and it will spin the little ones but not the big ones. So look out gophers and crows!!!!! Also my scope seems to work very well and is probably the best scope i have ever seen on a air rifle combo deal. the only thing i have to complain about is that when the gun arrived it had a crack in the stock from down by the trigger guard back part way through the grip. I phoned Cabala's and they said that they would track down the part and send me a new one. Truthfully i think that Cabala's customer service is one of the best i have ever encountered. if they could just get their suppliers to box the stuff properly it would be a REALLY great package."

"I would have to say I at first was not to impressed with this rifle and was a little down about the time and performace it took me to sight in the scope at only 25-30 yards took me about 2 hours to get it hitting a 2 inch circle target almost dead center every time. But once I got it working today i had lots of fun hitting target's left and right. I even had a robin land in a field on the other side of my friends yard. I rested the barrel on a fence adjusted the scope between 50-75 yards took aim fired and hit the bird in the next killing it instantly I am very pleased with the guns performance as of day one so hopefully it will keep it up."

"This gun is a solid weapon in terms of its feel, appearance and power. If you actually want to hit something with your air gun, however, I would make another choice. I shot about 50 rounds and could not do any better than getting my shots scattered along the bottom of a target sheet (6" low) at 25'. The accuracy left-right was not too bad, but, even with the scope cranked all the way up I could not get my shots to come up."

"I purchased the rifle from the Bargain Cave at the Buda, TX store. It was a reconditioned rifle, so I had my reserves on how it would perform. But, for the price, I couldn't pass it up. It already had the scope mounted, so I took it home to try it out. Once home I checked all the screws for tightness, and did an overall check for all other parts that tend to loosen over time on these type of barrel cocking air rifles. I then took the rifle out it the back yard, set up a pellet trap behind a paper target. The first shot was only a couple inches high. I adjusted the scope, and the next shot was dead center. I ended up shooting over 100 shots, with not much more than an inch separation. After the shooting was over I checked the scope for looseness. There was none. Matter of fact, nothing was loose at all on the rifle. The rifle was not overly noisy, nor did it have an over aboundance of spring shock. I guess the barrel compensator works better than I expected. Overall I feel this is a great rifle, and plan on having a nice squirrel diner this weekend with the help of this great little tool. By the way, the Crossman pellet would penetrate right at 450 pages of a Austin, TX phone book. Gig Em Aggies!!!! Great looking rifle, and excellent shooter as well."

"I wanted this rifle because of its good looks. When I received it, the key to unlock the trigger guard was broken and the wooden stock was dented up. I called and Cabelas replaced it with another one. It's stock was also dented up, in part due to the scope just floating around in the package. Cabelas again replaced it but I got a different model airgun and this one had no faults. I mentioned the packaging problems with the first -2- air rifles and Cabelas said they would look into it. I must say that Cabelas customer service is first rate and a pleasure to deal with."

"I was very impressed with the look of the gun when I first got it out of the box. But after several trips to the range I could not get it to group consistently. Cabela’s was good enough to send me another scope. But that did not help. I could not get it to stay on a a 8 ½ by 11 piece of paper at 25yds. Too bad it is a good looking gun!!"

"As soon as I opened the box after I received this rifle, I saw that the scope was rolling around loose in the box and had put a small ding in the stock. After mounting the scope and attempting to sight-in the gun at about 30 ft., using only the PBA pellets, this gun was impossible to sight-in. It would shoot a foot high and then a foot low. I re-checked the tightness of the scope and shot 30 more times, and still there was no change in accuracy. I returned the gun and plan on purchasing another brand. I was very disappointed in this rifle's performance although it does look nice. Save your money."

"The quality of the gun seems to be good, although the trigger is to hard to pull and the adjustment doesnot help much. I have yet to find a pellet that gives a consistent patern, don't know really if it is the gun or pellets."

"The first one I bought shot great for about the first 50 shots. Then lost its power. If I added oil after every fifth shot it would get some of its power back, but it was not consistent. I sent the gun back and got another. I only shot it about 10 times before it did the same thing."

"I got the gun in the mail two days ago and I love it. It didnt take but about 30 mins to sight in. I was amazed at the quality of the gun. At 40 yds, the PBA ammo lodged into the oak tree I was shooting at. It is truely a powerful gun. The gun groups pellets within an inch of each other every time. I would recomend the gun to anyone. It is absolutely worth the money. The scope is really nice too. It goes on with no trouble at all."
