"I own a lot of airguns and I have to tell you that I like this gun alot. It looks and feels great. It is made by Crosman for Cabela and I found it to be very accurate even at 50 yards. It comes with a nice Center Point 3-9X40 scope. I own several Gamos and this shoots just as well. I hold 50 yard shooting contest on my farm with friends and family and this gun holds it's own everytime. When you first get the gun and before you shoot it, make sure you go over it very well by tightening all screws and giving it a good cleaning."

"I'm pretty impressed with this air rifle, but like many things in life it does have some downfalls. Number one it isn't as accurate as i thought it would be, even with a pretty good stock scope it does not consistently meet it's mark in a tight enough pattern for me. I also don't like the fact that it has a muzzle break that comes loose if u don't crank down the two hex screws. I would think that the muzzle break would screw on to the barrel, but then again, i'm not an expert. I think overall i am pretty happy with this gun, but if i could do it over again, I would spend an extra hundred or so and see what some of the gamo line is like."

"I got this gun and couldent get it to shoot better than ten inch groups at 20 yds. and after reading the reviews I almost took it back untill I read the review that said that this gun had a break in period of about 2000 rds. so I tryed it and the results were amazing after I got about 2000rds through it I am now hitting one inch groups at 40 yds. you just have to give this gun a little break in period and it will meet your expectations. If it wasent for the break in period being so long I would have gave this gun a five but other than that it is a great gun."

"This is a great gun if you can be patient with the long break-inperiod . at first I experienced the same problems that other reviewers had..2000rds. later it prints 2"groups at 50-60yds. with common pellets , better ones give better results. the scope is great and the action smooth, I get compliments from friends with more expensive guns all the time . most spring piston guns need break-in time , this one needed more. I would give it a 5 if not for this."

Inaccurate shot groupings, power is inconsistant,October 25, 2007

"I purchased this air rifle last week. Looks great out of the box, good finish, substantial feel to rifle. Easy install, Scope fits well, clear optics at 15 yards. Proceeded to shoot target at 15 yards using RWS Super H hollow points (7.4 grs). Could not group shots any better than 3 inches, (this is only at 45 feet!!!). Tried two other Crossman brand pellet types; unable to get any consistent shots under 2-3 inch groupings. two of us shot many pellets with no better success. Another interesting reaction was that approx every 15-20 shots, the next shot was amazingly strong, sounded like detonation, then it would revert to normal sound and strength? I do not feel I can give this rifle a better score even if it looks and feels nice since it will not group adequately. I returned the rifle and purchased a GAMO CFX from Cabela's. Unbelievable difference in accuracy with the CFX. I am getting 1" groupings at 20 yards and only tried the RWS pellets above. Will shoot more later. Consider spending a couple of more dollars and get the CFX."

"great fifle the only problm i have is the scope mount it has a problem staying where you put it the screw that holds scope mount to riflr is to large for the small hole on top i tapped it out, now it's fine a lot of fun"

"I recieved the air rifle and it seemed fine until I went to sight in the scope. I noticed the elevation cap was crooked and when I tried to straighten it, it just poped off in my hand. It apparently was installed incorrectly. Also the rifle is quite loud which really isn't too much of a problem."

"Similar to another reviewer, the packing internal to the box was very poor - a plastic bag around the free-banging scope. No instructions on mounting the scope (but not hard to figure out), which is really amusing when contrasted with the number of repetitive and redundant (yes, that was on purpose) safety warnings. I have not yet cocked nor shot the rifle, so will hopefully be pleasantly surprised - appears to be a 50/50 chance based on the other reviews. The loose scope caused several minor dings in the otherwise decent stock. We'll see if it hunts.."

"I recently purchased this air rifle and it is extremely accurate, my dad and I have 30 hounds we use for hunting and the feed we use has caused a slight rodent problem but with the help of this rifle the rodent population has by far decreased. I intend to use this rifle for small game hunting whenever I go. It definitely has enough power to get the job done. when I first recieved the gun I was shooting into a 55 gallon barrell and was impressed because it would shoot through one side and put a nice dent in the other"

"I counted on Cabellas to contract to have a decent air rifle produced. I feel they could have done a better job. This rifle is heavy, has a long uncomfortable grip, is mecanicaly very loud and has alot of recoil. I'm sure it is a fun ranch gun, but if youre looking for smooth, easy action, accuracy, this isnt it. The hard recoil will shake every screw loose. I fired three shots and sent it right back. I reordered another brand. Look for that review."

"Picked up this gun the other day and fell in love with the looks and quality. Went to shoot it and thats when things went bad. The first thing that I found was the focus adjust on the scope was so loose it wasn't worth shooting till the problem was solved. With the adjust screwed tight to the scope body the problem was solved I just had to deal with the blurred view. After shooting off bags with 5 different pellets the best gouping I got was 11.5 inches. I'll be looking into a different brand. To bad because I loved the looks of this gun."

"I recently bought this gun and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The product was not packed very well. The scope that came with the gun was packed with a piece of plastic around it and placed in the box with the gun, no protection. The setup, gun/scope, were really nice looking. After the excitement of receiving it and ready to do some shooting, I tried to sight it in, no luck. I could not get any type of grouping with the shots. All my shots were at about 30 feet with the use of a bench rest and there was a 6-8 inch difference between every shot. I called and was told that it probably was a bad scope. I sent the riffle back and received a new one a few days later. I was very hopeful that this one would do the trick, again no luck. I shot at 30 feet and some shots were as much as 18" difference. I sent it back and requested a refund. Overall the gun and scope were very nice looking and had a great feel. The gun seems to be very powerful but if you plan to hunt with it I would not suggest it."
