"American made, simple design, heavy duty materials, minimally invasive install, exceptionally reasonably priced and adjustable installation to cover all your rifle barrel lengths when properly measured.
I installed this on the interior wall of my hunting trailer, which is a custom 7'X14' cargo trailer. This couldn't be a more functional system and it is low profile & non bulky unlike most rifle holders. As I walk in the door, my 7mm Magnum slides right into this tight fitted holding station next to the front entry door. When I leave, it's right there....ready....right after I put on my hat & coat.
If you are using big bore rifles, you may want to consider the "shotgun" holder. They make these to hold with a very tight fit. Although I won't travel down logging or back roads with my rifle in this station, it would easily accomodate pavement towning based on how solid this holder is.

""The Grabber is used in my office to hold a 12 Ga, personal protection, Ithaca Deerslayer shotgun in a hidden, easy-to-get-to wall in my office. The gun used to be on the floor, leaning against the wall. Now it's mounted in a ready-to-go position on the wall. The Grabber releases the weapon with a slight upward, outward tug. Requires a little practice to learn how to pull the gun out rapidly. Mounting was easy and the screws were long enough to reach the metal stud in the wall. Drilling pilot holes will be required.""

"Purchased the Gun Grabber to mount a pistol grip Rem 870P on the side of my dresser, next to the bed for super quick access. Good Quality product. I did have to remove some of the rubber to be able to secure and dismount the gun at desired speed....product delivered desired results....may have to purchase a few more."

"I bought the Gun Grabber from Cabela's for my Yamaha Rhino. Then discovered that given the distance between the Rhino's floor and its dash, even a collapsed-stock CAR-15 would require placing the top grabber somewhere in the middle of my windshield. Which won't work, obviously. I could buy the very expensive add-on kit to mount the top grabber to the side bar of the roll cage, but it way more than doubles the price and would interfere with my half windshield. I suspect it would also make it difficult to get in or out. It is clear from the other reviews here that most people bought this product to hold a rifle or shotgun on a wall or in a closet. It will work fine there. But it doesn't belong in Cabela's UTV sales area. I'll keep mine and find a place in the house for it. I'd give it four stars for that role."

"Nice product, but the holder was supposedly designed for shotguns ( should work OK ) and varmint barreled rifles ( the reason I purchased it ). However, the base piece does not allow a scoped or optic sighted rifle to be placed into it without turning the rifle perpendicular to the base. Either the base is too short to allow proper placement of the buttstock, or the rifle has to be turned parallel to the wall it is mounted on. Neither fits well."

"I use this with a Remington 870 Express with an extended magazine. Although it holds the shotgun just fine, it really was designed to grab onto the barrel only and not the barrel and magazine together such as in my case. So, they really need another new model accordingly. Still, I'm quite happy with it."

"I had to remove some of the soft rubber material so that my fluted barrel rifle would fit, but after this simple mod I am amazed how well this holds the rifle in my motorhome. It's secure but still readily available simply by lifting slightly and pulling it free from the grippers. Nice product!"

"Very happy with my Gun Grabber. I installed it in my closet to hold my home defense shotgun. My shot gun has an extended magazine so the rubber grip will not close completely around it but it still holds the weapon rock solid."

"This product is very strong and reliable; however, I bought it to hold my rifle while I was in the tree stand. It's not built that way. I figured I could strap it to a nearby tree and not worry about holding my rifle while I'm rattling a big buck in. This product would work best if mounted to a wall, not a tree. Overall it's a great product, but didn't serve my personal purpose."

"Living in a rural farming community, it's common to need a gun quickly for varnmint control. Over the years , there were several occassions where our rifle stocks or scopes were "decommissioned" by an accidental slide down the wall. I purchased two "gun grabbers" and mounted them to the wall, behind curtains in two rooms at our second floor vantage points. No more worries about off-kilter scopes, banged- up stocks, or other accidents. Rifle accessability is now easier than ever. The secure mounts, do not have to be at floor level, making complete concealment possable as well.(Out-of-sight-out-of-minds). Just be sure to cover your barrel to keep it clean."
