"This was once a great lure. I've caught hundreds of striped bass and bluefish on the 7" Tsunami swim shad. Unfortunately, they must have changed the rubber material that comprises this lure, because it does not last long. Even catching a small striper will cause the rubber to tear,especially near the hook shank. Having to replace a damaged lure every time I catch a fish is not very cost- effective. Hopefully Tsunami will correct this problem, until they do, I will not buy this product."

"This tsumani swim shad is the best bait to catch snooks and tarpons. I caught more fish on these tsumani than on any other bait, i even caught more fish than friend that were using live bait next to me. A light gigging action gets a strike everytime. I cant believe the results, I recommend these baits any color, in any kind of water, they are just very effective and productive. Albert in Jamaica"

"yes these baits have great action and get hit by nice-sized bass and striper; however, because they are so meaty, fish clamp down on the body and don't get hooked. I've lost many nice Stripers on the 7" and one on the 9" just this last week! Moreover, I also lost a big Striper when the hook on a 7" snapped above the barb (25lb mono held fine). love em/hate em"

"I finally had a chance to use these baits at my home lake after seeing them used by other fishermen on TV and the internet. They made them look like the best bait for stiper on the market.....called them "STRIPER CANDY". WOW where they ever right. Went out the other day and used them for the first time on a troll with lead core and wore them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great bait I have already ordered other sizes and more of the 7" baits. Thanks Tsunami for a great product that I dont have to worry about keeping alive in the summer heat."

"These swim shads look great in the water and they produce a ton of hits. The problem with them is that they are hard to keep fish on and many times you will lose the fish on the way in. This pats weekend I started out the day using them, I caught one smallie and lost four on the way in. I had to change amd I used the X-Rap, I love that lure and so did the fish. If you get the Tsunami's sharpen/ file down the hook to make them thinner."
