"These are the best pants I have ever owned. The fit is absolutely perfect, and the fabric is soft and sturdy, and the pocketless back side has a smoothing look. They are so comfortable, and they look beautiful on. They sit gently and easily upon the waist, and they make room for hips and thighs, gently grazing all of a woman's curves. If you have a classic shape; that is, if your waistline is indented, and your hips are fuller than your waist (at size 4 I have a 27" waist and 36" hips), and if you agree with me that pants should sit at the natural waist, then you will love these pants. For those of us with a somewhat hourglass shape, these pants are a blessing. (Especially those of us searching for a size 4 that is neither shaped like some teen rock star, nor immodest, nor flood pants!) As for the customers who were miffed that they needed to hem the pants, the website gives the inseam: 31”. So there is no surprise. And thanks to Cabelas for stocking a pant that is long enough for those of us who are too short for Tall sizes (Tall inseam would be 33"), but who still have trouble finding pants that are long enough. It’s better if a few women might need to hem a pair of pants than for the pants to be too short. Pants that are too short cannot be fixed, usually. (There would be an unsightly crease, if they could be fixed at all.) I have walked miles and miles of shopping malls looking for pants that fit. These Country Corduroys are literally the only pants in years that I have found that actually fit. (And they are high in quality too! The fabric has heft, and is buttery soft.) Thank you, Cabelas, for continuing to stock them, and at an affordable price! Please keep these pants in stock! Not only do they fit an hourglass shape, even in a size 4, but they are decent and modest. Today’s clothesmakers have gone insane, and their clothes are indecent, uncomfortable, cheap, and insubstantial. Thank you, Cabelas, and Woolrich, for being an oasis in a desert, to those of us who are simply looking for decent, mature, functional, feminine clothing (like our mothers and grandmothers had access to). Thank you for keeping these beautiful pants in stock, and continuing to make them in the same dimensions and fabric. I have them in five colors! They make a woman look decent and honorable. If it were not for these pants, I don’t know what I’d do – these give me an option besides skirts and dresses. Thanks!! Please make more varieties of pants like this (with the higher waist, and with the hourglass shape), for both winter and summer, and in casual, dress, and jeans styles!"

"I really like these pants. They're fairly thick, making them warm and cozy on winter days, but also very soft and easy to move around in. The fit is just right in the waist at my regular size, and is relaxed through the hips but not sloppy. The waist is higher than is the fashion these days but that's where I like my casual/semi-dressy pants to be (and these pants work as either weekend or workday attire depending on what you pair them with). I get compliments every time I wear them. I'm going to get 1-2 more pairs in different colors now that they're on sale."
