"We had a product that just displayed temperature outside and in, then traded up to this. We are very happy with it, the kids love to see what the barometer is doing and try to forecast what the weather's going to do."

"Overall this has been a great product. The temperature and humidity (great feature) are both very accurate. It has very large, and easy to read, numbers. The shortcoming I have found is the surprisingly short distance at which the remote transmitter will work. It seems to limit out around 20 feet going only through 2 standard walls."

"This is the second weather station that I have. The 1st was a gift. I purchased one as a gift and decided to get a 2nd one for our get out of town place. It really give accurate temps. The only thing it misses is a nite light feature."

"The display is good and easy to understand. I find myself looking at it anytime I'm in the kitchen. My only complaint is that I had to put it fairly close to the outdoor sensor to get reception. Otherwise I'm very satisfied."

"I bought this because I wanted a better alternative than watching the weather channel local on the 8's. It was very easy to set up, and has been very accurate. I have NEVER had a wrong forecast or any readings from this Weather Station. Many times, when I would watch the Weather Channel, they would say it would be light snow, and my weather station would say sunny (predicts for the next 12-24 hours), it would be sunny for that day. There have also been many times when the Weather Channel's temperature has been off by about 10F and I would compare the Oregon Scientific Weather Forecaster to another thermometer, and they would match. The numbers are large so it is easy to read them from across the room. I like how it has comfort and heat indexes. I use this more than the Weather Channel and look at it more than 20 times per day. Do NOT hesitate to buy this Weather Forecaster."

"This is actually a good product and performs as claimed. If it were properly supported, I would give it 5 stars.
Service is the problem. About 6 months ago I lost the outside sending unit. I contacted Oregon Scientific and offered to buy a new one. I was informed that that model was out of stock and was placed on a waiting list. Since then I have attempted to contact them and have been ignored. Phone calls go to voice mail and are not returned. E-mails get no response.
I love Cabela's but I have had it with Oregon Scientific. I'm going to buy a competing product from another maker. I suggest you do the same."

"Had to return this unit back to Cabela's twice. Both were defective. One kept changing the time back to it's default, Pacific time. Also humidty readings were VERY inaccurate. Was in contact with Oregon and they offered to send me another one. I'm choosing another brand."
