"there was no instructions and no mantion on the website about a sled for the blind. the flip open tops don't work very well as they are bungee cords and no hardware to pin the flip tops overall works well for concealment ."

"Very happy with this blind and the service from cabelas the first blind came and was wrecked . Cabelas had me a new one in a few days no questions asked and never missed a day of the season . Like the room inside for all the boys and girls as well as the dogs and gear etc . Would buy another one in a heart beat . The only complaint I have would be the fabric in the doors gets a bit tight when I put all the straw in the straps for a field shoot making the zipper near impossible to close . Might stretch out if left in there long enough though . Other than that love the roof and the quick access to the birds ."

"Great field blind! I bought this blind prior to the start of the 07 season and it has performed great. I have taken a number of birds (ducks and geese) with it already this year and found it to be as good or even better than using a pit or layout blind and since it is portable it can be moved in just a matter of minutes. There are several other hunters in the surrounding fields hunting from pits and layout blinds, one of which said that my Haybale blind looked like a deer blind and it would spook the birds but I have taken more birds than they have so far this season, although I'm not going to tell them that. I would however suggest the use of steel rods or wooden stakes to anchor the blind if it is to be left in the field as I have done. I used tent stakes at first only to find the blind had been pulled loose and blown 200 yards into a drainage ditch during a 30+ mph wind, I recovered the submerged blind and found it had not been damaged and placed it back in the field several days later after attaching it to a piece of plywood and using wood stakes to anchor all four corners. There have since been a few days with 30+ winds and the blind has held up very well. Visibility from overhead and from all four sides is great and I also have the ability to shoot 360 degrees in it with no problem. Initially I thought that the price was more than I wanted to spend but it has turned out to be well worth the money and I'll be using it again next year."

"I bought my hay-bale blind about 5 yr ago. I couldn't wait to get it out in the field and give it a go. I was impressed at first in the early season of goose and duck hunting in MD. But there are many things wrong with this product that need to be aired out to fellow hunters. I bought the 3-man outfitter for me, my brother and dad to hunt out of. We are big guys and room in the blind was not a problem. 1. You can use this blind as long as the weather is not below 50 degrees. After that when putting the blind together in any cold weather the clips on the end of the support poles snap very quickly. I have replaced these clips at least one on each end of the poles. 2. The material the blind is made of shinks in cold weather and it is impossible to get the zippers to zip.The stiching along the zippers rip loose and I sent the blind back to the factory 3 times to be fixed. I final and had elastic seamed into the edges at the zippers to help loosen the fabric in cold weather. 3. I had the factory sew an extra flap of material on to one of the roof latchs so the rain would not good in.
There are many, many things wrong with this blind and they need to go back the the drawning board and get it right

"there is nothing worse than late october weather around devils lake, north dakota. the hale bale blind supplied great cover, warmth, survied five days of snow and high winds. it was great not to have lay in the snow and get out of the wind. the hale bale blind allowed mobility and with a heater it was comfortable in o degree windchills"
