"If they would design this top with good instructions and tie downs it would be ok. I had to use wire ties to keep it in place"

Polaris Ranger Roof Cap (Mossy Oak),
November 5, 2008
By Drew01
|
"Roof Cap fit the Ranger perfectly. It was more than simple to install and looked great once I got it on. We'll see how it stands up over the next year, but the quality of the materials and workmanship are promissing. For the money, I think it was a great investment for the Ranger. I would definately recommend this to other owners. Also as a side note, the camo on the cap matched the camo on the ranger perfectly, it looks like it was a factory accessory."

does not fit,

"The mule transport top does not fit. It has poor instructions and is way too large. It also came in advantige max camo which was not even listed as an option. I am in th process of returning it, if the drop ship department ever gets back too me. I will stick to dealer equipment from now on even if it cost more."

don't waste your money,
January 8, 2008

"I received the cover for a Mule trans 4X4. It was a rectangular piece of thin nylon with velcro loops at the front corners and two ties toward the middle of the cover in the rear. If you know the trans 4X4, there is nothing to attach the rear ties to. The picture on the web shows a roof cap. Since the cover barely fits from one side to the other, there is no way you can make a cap out of it. I also got a roll of Velcro. The directions were useless. Basically they said apply velcro in the right places. huh? You are better off with a $5 tarp. At least there are grommets to put elastic straps into. The cover i received was cheap and did not fit a darn."

The best of both worlds,
November 4, 2007
By Azyuman

"This is a must for the Ranger. It goes on quick and fits over other products like the roll cage padding and the overhead organizer. The best part of this is that you can take it off in a hurry so your passenger can stand on the seat to see a long way when scouting. It goes back on just as fast and works as a visor as well. It takes almost no room to store in the cargo box and is tight enough so it does not flap when traveling fast."

"good over all, but front velcro comes off in sun light (heat) and pulls it up when you are driving . also needs a center suport to keep rain from gathering in it and pulling it off."

Cabela's UTV roofcap,
June 15, 2007
By alpenawildwood

"I like the way the cap fits BUT the adhesive on the straps HAS NOT held very well. We purchased the cap in April and installed it per the instructions. By the end of May when warmer weather hit the adhesive had let go. The manufacturer did have any suggestions other than to return the cap. We did not wish to return the cap as it does fit well. The only other thing they said they would do was supply new straps and we could have someone remove the old and restitch the new ones on. I think I will come up with my own solution!"
