LIGHT, WARM & WONDERFUL,

"Living in Alaska I always carry a fleece jacket. The wheather can change dramatically in mere minutes from high 60's to low 40's. Hypothermia is a constant life threatening condition. That is unless I'm prepared. I have purchased many fleece jackets in the past, none are as good as the Cabela's Titan Windsheer. I just finished my third hunting book, "Supreme Hunter" which required much time in the Alaskan outdoors researching hunting success secrets and premium hunting gear plays a major role in my outdoor activity success. I have always liked fleece clothing, but it had one flaw about it -- wind penetration robs warmth. Windsheer fleece solves that problem. The quality of this Cabela's Titan Windsheer is the absolute premium."

I'm liking this jacket!,

"It has a nice solid feel to it and I like the extra touches of the patches at the wear points. (elbows, upper arms, shoulders, neck, etc) It has a full cut and great for layering or by itself. I've worn it several times when the wind chill gets going and it certainly does the job. I will say that the extra chording on drawstrings (at the waist) are perfectly placed to get buckeled into the seatbelt if you're not watching but that's a pretty small issue."

"I have worn this several times and have a hard time taking it off. This is a perfect single layer to wear under a light coat in cold weather or by itself above 45 degrees to 55. It really does stop the wind. My only complaint is the lining makes it a little hard to take it off and get on, but this isn't so hard that it makes me not want to wear it. If it were about $20 less I would buy two or more extra."

"I am very happy with this product. I wear it pheasant hunting.
I can move about easily wearing it. The fleece is warm without bulk and it is easy to build layers under it.
As a base layer I recommend Cabela's Mountain Ridge Turtlenecks!"

Stupid Zipper,

"I love this jacket, but it is currently sitting in the closet because the zipper stop broke off and the zipper pull is gone! Also the stitching on the elbow patches has come undone after only a few months of light wear. Disappointed in the quality of this product"

Good all around jacket,

"This jacket stops the Colorado winds and keeps me warm. I use it alone on mild winter days and as a layer on those cold winter nights.
It looks nice enough to wear to work or when walking the dog.
I have used it to replace a fleece hoodie and fleece vest which were not wind proof. Good quality jacket at a great price."

"As is the case with all Cabelas brand merchandise I have bought so far, this jacket is top notch. I live in one of the coldest/windiest regions of Canada and can't say enough about how good this jacket is!Wind shear is wind proof. The temp reached -52 with the wind chill one day here and all I wore outside was this jacket and a long sleeve shirt underneath....everything else was cold but not my body...."

"This jacket is incredibly warm for its thickness. It blocks the wind effectively, is comfortable and looks good. So far it seems to be quite well built (no problems after a month). The sizing is average (not small or large), so if you want room for a few layers underneath go up a size."

"Great jacket. Nice and warm, and very windproof. In my opinion, there's only one real downside to this garment. Only two zippable pockets. It would have been nice to have one on the inside where you could throw a cell phone or an MP3 player and keep it fairly close to you as opposed to having to dig in the big pockets on the sides.
Other than that...no complaints!"

I found this Jacket runs very small,

"I ordered this jacket in in a 2X tall and it was too small and I am not that big. I order to get the Jacket to fit I had to get a 3 X tall for the sleeves but now I have room for a pillow underneath as I weigh 250 pounds not 350."
