"Bought for my son to use on his gun. Doesn't feed reliably with lower powered .22 LR cartridges. Standard velocity rounds don't have enough horsepower to eject the spent cartridge, cycle the action and strip a new round into the chamber. Rounds get stuck halfway in. Seems to feed better with high velcity rounds, but not consistent. Feeds really well with super velocity like the CCI Stingers, but that can get expensive."

"Hard to load more than 21 rounds of amunition in to the magazine. Needs metal loading plates where rounds are loaded in to the magazine. Other wise very good product."

"The plastic feeders work in half the clips only. Stick with the metal ones. I have used a dozen of each with the 10/22s and 50% of the plastic ones fail to load with a full round and 100% of the metal feeders never fail."

"Excellent product but what ever you do, don't get it close to a chlorinated cleaner like brake cleaner. Even the fumes or vapors will cause it to disenagrate. LOL, Don't ask me how I know!"

"Bought based on favorable reviews. I would like to have rated with no star(s) but not an option. Bought multiple mags all lemons, what are the odds that all would not function? First time that reviews were way off the mark. Do yourself a favor and buy from a more reliable manufacturer like Ram Line."

"I bought this magazine based on reviews, and realy did take a chance. Some people said that these clips either work really good or really bad. Well I must have got a bad one.
I loaded it up with about 20 rounds for the first time. and it would feed jam about every other round. I found that if I hold the magazine tightly in the receiver then it would feed better. Not worth the time when you are trying to target shoot for tight groups. I took it home reloaded it and hand cycled rounds through it with the same results feed jamming every 2 rounds or so.
I also bought one of the Butler Creek 10 rnd mags, because in some states anything over 10 rounds is illegal. It performs nearly perfect.
the transparent smoke color looks really cool but that is where the good ends with this magazine. Save yourself the money and either try their 10 rounder or stick with the Ruger factory magazine, they are flawless..."

"I owned one of these for 2hrs. and returned it!! i loaded 25 shells intoit and 10 shot fine. the other 15 shells ether jamed or never got pushed to the chamber. i found if you get the same product but with steal feed lips, its 10 times better! it will be a bit more but you get what you pay for!!"

Dont Buy!!! oh and Cabelas please Dont Sell!!!! the plastic at the top is called "hot lips" anyone who is looking for a 25 round mag must buy "steel lips" i own 3 of them and have never had a problem with the mags, bring extra lube for your gun cause these are a blast to shoot and your gun will be the problem long before the "steel lips" mag."

"I bought several of these magazines and got the same result every time....they Jam, or wont feed and they damage the bullets. Seem to work better if you only load 10 to 15 rounds. And its plastic, doesnt fit like it should. I will never buy this product again."

"I bought 3 of these, they are junk, they constantly jam, I have tried several different types of ammo with same results. I also bought there magazine feeder which puts a small dent in the side of the cartridge, this cannot be good. I will never purchase anything made by butler creek again."
