"I recently bought 3 of these hitches for my Yamaha Rhino.
I did not mount balls on 2 because I use them for securing the unit to the trailer.
If you slide the grab hooks of your tie down straps thru the holes where the trailer ball is supposed to go you will have much better luck locking it down. If you use the recovery hooks on the sides, the hooks on your straps tend to slide back and forth and then become loose.
All the reviews were right about the hitch being very loose in the reciever itself. They should have made it longer so you can get all style trailers onto a 2" ball.
Just drill out the first hole bigger and it will acccept a 2" ball and your problem is solved.
I leave these on all the time as they work very well in the woods for stopping you from running the front end into anything in the deep grass or brush that you may not see until its too late
Good product, I would reccomend it to people who dont want to spend alot and are going to do occasional towing or moving of trailers.
Works great in the yard for moving my utility trailer around."

Ball Mount for Looks Only,

"This is a Chinese manufactured mount and performs as if it was made out of pasta. While pulling an ATV Wagon behind my UTV, the wagon rolled onto its side with this mount installed using a 2-inch ball. No damage to the wagon, hitch or ball but the mount twisted like a pretzel! I replaced the mount with a standard truck mount and the trailer never rolled again. This looks good but when it comes to functionality, save your money, go buy a standard truck stinger. I would not recommend this mount to anyone. Cheap and Chinese made… Cabela’s makes great stuff but this product lacks quality!"

"The shaft on this unit is way too short so it rattles around- ALOT. Also The pin placement is way too near the end of the shaft as well.
My Gator XUV has a standard receiver hitch on front and back.
This was a waste of money. Great Idea, Poor Engineering."
