"case is very well made. ive had it for several monthes and its holding up well. i have a savage 22 hornet that measures 43" and it has a good 2" of space left. plenty of room for the scope."

"Other than the front sight on my rifle catching a few times, this case is exactly what I was after. It is very well padded to protect the rifle and yet not bulky and awkward. I would definately buy another if/when I get another rifle."

"I recieved this case today. Great looking case, BUT! Cabela's has it listed as a 48" case, the case itself only measures 46" on the outside and 44" on the inside. The case even has a little tag sewn onto it with the number 44 on it. So buy it if you gun is 44" or less, get something else if your gun is longer!!!"

"This case is the Bob Allen 48" Scoped rifle case- Item #7IS-228259. When I received the shipment, I put my rifle into the case. My scoped rifle is 45 3/4 inches long. The zipper would not zip past the butt plate of the rifle. I measured the outside full length of the case and it is only 46 1/4 inches long. I had to call Cabellas and they researched other products and came up with a replacement that is 50 inches long. This should leave some room for error in the exact length. These cases should be pulled from stock, measured and readvertised at the correct length. This item was a Birthday guift from my wife and she was upset. I explained to her how much I like Cabellas and this is the 1st returm item I have had to process. The 800 line personel were very helpful and found the replacement item as I viewed it on-line. Thank you Cabellas."

"Finally found a case that holds my 700VSSF topped off with a Redfield 3-12x56LE and harris bipod. A good snug fit for transport on a ATV. Good protection with the extra dense foam padding. Read the product description. Well worth the money."
