"Love this power rod...makes it much easier to "seat" the bullet down on the powder. The actual "T" in the handle and the pin as well are metal, not cheap plastic and should last a lifetime. The only gripe I have is that Thompson Center should have these on EVERY muzzleloader regardless of the price of the muzzleloader from the factory, but this does not reflect on the review of the power rod itself. GREAT IDEA!!!"

"This rod is a great improvement over the old hollow ones.
The "T" handle makes loading much easier if you are trying for a fast followup shot when hunting.
The one thing I don't care for is that the weight of the rod causes it to slip foward when the muzzleloader is fired.
Not sure this is a rod problem. Maybe a tigher retaining system would help."

"Excellent addition to my TC Triumph. This rifle is notoriously hard to load due to its tight barrel for sabot use. It disappoints me that a company like TC which makes such overall excellent weapons does not include this standard with all their muzzleloaders. I think they would avoid a lot of warranty complaints about loading the Triumph if they did. There's a reason the "Bone Collector" had this spec'd as standard on his signature edition of the Triumph."

"I WAS VERY EXCITED TO FIND THIS ITEM.IT RECEIVED A VERY GOOD REVIEW IN A RECENT HUNTING MAGAZINE.IT WAS ADVERTISED TO BE USED FOR A 26" BARREL.UPON ARRIVAL IT WAS JUST WHAT I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR-A VERY STRONG ROD TO BE USED HUNTING AAND TARGET PRATICE.THE ONLY PROBLEM IT WAS ONLY 23"s-WHICH MADE IT WORTHLESS--OR THAT I WOULD NOW NEED TWO RODS.VERY DISSAPOINTED."

"Had to send back for a refund. Description says for Omegas but it was several inches too short for my Omega Z-5. Not Cabelas fault as it says it on the T/C label also. Sent an email to T/C but got no response as its a quality product, just doesn't fit !!"

"I bought this for a friend . My rifle came with this rod and his did not have one. It is so much easier to load with the little swing out handlethat gives you something to push on when loading the bullit. The handle swings back flush when not in use so you only see it when you need it. A very functional and useful item that has no negatives to it."

"I bought this rod for my TC omega, and it was great for the one season ive used it for so far. My original rod got bent because I didnt have a T on the end of it, so part of it was my fault, but this swivel T design is great, plus the T is magnetic, so it easily stays out of the way when youre not loading. Great product."

"The T-handle is handy and does provide the user with a more sturdy platform to seat the loads. However, I found that the ramrod as a whole is a bit short for cleaning, and seating a smaller load, unless you have a lengthy jag attached. I would also say that the "T" itself is a bit short and can be rough on the hands. Overall, it is a better ramrod than the one provided by the factory."
