Great Walking Shoes,

"I bought these because I wanted a shoe that will keep my feet warm and dry when hiking with my dog and they definitely fit the bill! I wouldn't say they are overly attractive ( I bought the black) and they look like my husband's work shoes, but they are definitely functional for what I wanted them for."

"These shoes are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. I have MS and wear a brace which goes under my foot almost to my toes on my left leg. I have trouble buying shoes because I have to be able to take the insole out in order to put my brace in. Also the toe has to be wide enough so the brace fits in. These shoes are dressy enough to wear to church and are a wonder to walk in."

"I wanted a shoe with good support and these shoes have it. I also like that they are water proof. The only draw back is they are a little high on the ankles but after wearing them a few times they break in without a problem. I would purchase these shoes again."

Sturdy but NOT Comfy,

"These shoes are sturdy but are not very comfortable at all. I have continued to wear them with the hopes they would "become" more comfy but...so far that is not the case. They have kept my feet dry on rainy days but the minute I am off work and get in the car I take them off."

"I've been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now and I am
very pleased with them. I am on my feet all day at work and my feet did not ache at all. Also have been on a few hikes on rough terrain and they felt very stable. And beyond beiing comfortable and comfortable, I like their look, nicer and more

"This is a very confortable shoe for me. I really have a hard time finding a comfortable shoe cause I have foot problems.
These shoes fit well and I can walk a lot longer and stand a lot longer in them. I'm on my feet all day long and on concrete floors alot and these shoes are Awesome!
Ialso like the way they look which is always a plus"

"I have a wider foot and it is difficult to find a good pair of shoes that fit. This pair is excellent. I beleive I wore them 5 days straight without a problem, and they are comfortable. I also have a somewhat of a high arch. This shoe gives good support for me."

"Over the past year or so, I have purchased three pairs of these shoes in the Dune color, because they fit great, and are perfect with jeans or khaki pants. I wear a wide width, and they are my favorite shoes. Good fit, and I like how they are waterproof when walking through wet grass or trails."

A Bit Too High At The Ankle,

"These shoes are nice but I am having some problems breaking them in. They feel like they are just a bit too high around my ankles and they are chafing me. I think once I get them broke in, they will be comfortable but right out of the box brand new, they are not very comfortable."

"My wife purchased these particular shoes at my insistence. She has always had massive problems with inferior foot ware. She has been wearing these shoes for about two months now and really, really likes them. My wife works at our local Hospital and spends all day long on her feet. For this price, you would be hard pressed to find a better shoe. Plain and simple. This one gets 5 stars...!!"

Nice Shoes But Need Some Modifications,

"These are great shoes but for a person with a really wide foot and a high instep, they could use some modifications. First, there is not enough depth in the instep so that it crushes down on the foot when you walk. Also, the leather is very stiff and does not loosen up. A softer leather would be preferable. However, I do like the rocker bottom feature and that is the best design for a walking shoe. Other than that, it is a good shoe for a wide foot and there are not many out there to choose from. Maybe Cabela's could design a wide women's walker shoe with a rocker bottom that allows more depth in the front part of the shoe (near where the lacing begins)."
