dissapointed,
August 5, 2008
By warbird8

"I have had these boots now for three weeks and this is what I am experiencing: the stiching is coming undone around the upper eyelets on both boots. it is also coming undone all around the rubber covering the toe on both boots. on the left boot ,in the back of the boot where the sole is attached to the boot it is beginning to seperate. this alone is very dissapointing at only three weeks. as far as how they feel, they do feel very good and they are light which is good if you are on your feet all day as I am. Overall I would probably not buy these again. Converse needs to beef up their work boots to be able to compete with the top brands."

Work Boots,
June 30, 2008
By recon1

"Everything about the boot is wonderful except --- widths are way off on wide - fits fine in bare feet with socks way to tight.
All other Cabela's shoes have fit perfect in WIDE, EE, 4E"

Wear every day,

"For steel toe shoes these are nice. If you have to work in the cold, your know you have steel toes on. These shoes don't freeze your feet or set off metal detectors, like other shoes. I will buy these shoes again."

Converse work hiker boots,
March 25, 2008
By jtofco12
from Louisville, CO
|
"I've wore them every day for work, the past 3 weeks. Even though I bought them a half size to big, they are still comfortable. From concrete floors to steep terrain, the soles grip well. I have recommended them to my fellow employee's. I will buy them again."

nice light boots,
March 18, 2008
By DeMadDog
|
"These boots are lightweight and comfortable, the extra width is the key feature for me. I did notice one problem after wearing them a while, that I wish I had felt earlier. The right boot has a ridge across the ball of the foot area that is anoying at best and could become painful. If I had noticed this when first trying them on I would have returned them. Instead I fixed it myself by inserting a thin foam insole after cutting the toe tip off along the annoying ridge. This evened out the sole to make the boot comfortable. I hope this flaw does not show up in all these boots, or I would rate them lower."

Awesome boots!,

By IndoorWar

"I would have to say that, after 33 years of lawn care and landscaping, I have finally found the perfect work boot for me, and I'm sure for others in this line of work. They are definitely waterproof, the composite toe keeps the boot lightweight, while still giving protection, and the sole does a great job gripping on slopes."

Great Boots,
June 18, 2007
By BobN1
from Northeast Pennsylvania
|
"I am an Engineer in a large metal fabrication plant and spend almost all day on my feet on a concrete floor. These boots are terrific! I like them because they are very light compared to regular steel toes and the soles really cushion the impact of walking. They were very comfortable from the first day I wore them and did not need to be broken in. They almost feel like I am wearing a pair of sneakers. I will buy them again."

Damp feet,
