Flocked heads for additional realism and reduced glare
Weighted keel adds stability
Four different head styles
Rugged construction for many seasons
Successful waterfowlers know the Big Foot name means quality. The Floater decoy epitomizes every
aspect and desire of a knowledgeable goose hunter. Add to that tradition of quality the new flocked
head, and you've got one serious hunting tool. The same rugged construction and realism in these
polyethylene bodies as the original Big Foot make these the best choice for a floating decoy. The
weighted keel adds stability and ensures a smooth glide. It makes for a self-righting decoy under most
conditions. The flocked head ensures that no glare will cause incoming birds to flare, and the
ultra black will add the look of a live bird. Goose hunters will flock to these decoys, but they also make
a
great confidence decoy in a duck spread, making them a waterfowler's dream. They are truly a decoy
for all seasons. Decoys come in four-packs with four different head styles. Each pack has one upright,
one action, one shortneck and one resting.
Dimensions: 26''L x 12''W x 6-1/2''H.

Big Foot Goose decoys( floaters),October 1, 2009
By waterfowlenthusiast1from north country
"I have been using the big foot goose decoys for the past six years on open water. There are several positive characteristics for this decoy. They are lightweight and realistic in color(These are the most outstanding features). The four different head positions allow a realistic view of a flock of geese. The flocked heads stand out and appear to be more realistic than the non-flocked heads. The only parts of the decoys that I have had to paint are the black tail, white cheek patch, and an occasional highlights of the back feathers. The paint applied to these decoys was due to the extreme use and abuse of the decoy( exposed to ice, gravel, and rough transport). With normal use, I could see that the paint would last for a long time since the paint appears to be molded into the plastic. The decoy rides well in rough water.
The decoy itself is very thin where the bottom meets the sides. A stray piece of shot can easily penetrate to body of the decoy. The heads are difficult to put on initially. You really need to apply a lubricant to get them on properly. I have six dozen of these decoys and there are two shades of color for the back of the decoy. It is not significant. I am not sure if the older decoys were exposed to an excessive amount of UV light or the color has changed slightly in the manufacturing over the years.
In summary, I am excited to have a decoy that does not require high maintenance( painting). I wish it was just a little thicker plastic. I highly recommend this decoy."

Big Foot Flocked Floater Goose Decoys,September 18, 2009
By tbcfrom New Jersey Coastal Zone
"These are are the third group of four floaters that I have purchased. The original eight work like a charm, and I expect even better results with the new additions as they are flocked. With the four goose butts already in my rig that gives me plenty of coverage for my hunts. Anymore and I would have to invest in a larger sneakbox."

Awesome Results,February 12, 2009
By bjfvafrom Falls Church, VA
"These decoys did the trick. This was the first season we used them and we shot birds 8 out of the 10 trips we hunted. The birds were naturally attracted to the spread even towards the late season. Works great for the average hunter who does not call geese like an expert."

bigfoot floater heads,January 27, 2009
By Prymanfrom South Carolina
"great looking decoy and durable BUT the way the heads attach are very subpar. Out of the 4 decoys I received, 3 of the heads cracked at the production seam on the neck while screwing them on!! I figured for the price of these top dollar decoys they would have a better system for head installation."

Goose decoys,December 30, 2008

"These are the most realistic decoys I have used and I have been hunting geese for over 40 years. The only problem is the attachment of the head. I would recommend gluing them on!"

Great Decoys for a Great Price,December 23, 2008
By GooseMNfrom Saint Paul, MN
"This season was my first time waterfowl hunting and these Big Foot Goose Decoys worked perfectly and made my experience better than I could have hoped. The paint looks great and does not chip. The flocking does not rub off very easily, and the overall look of the decoys is very lifelike. Great Decoys, I will be buying more."

Big Foot Goose Decoys Can Be a Pain,October 6, 2008
By RickofWoodbridgefrom Woodbridge, VA
"The Big Foot goose decoys look good, but they require attaching the neck/head to the body and that can be a problem. The neck section is made of a material that didn't easily and permanently connect well to the body. I've had a problem with them coming apart such that I need to carefully handle them when pulling in and out of water and into the decoy bag."

Goose Magnet!!!,September 20, 2008
By bass74from Illinois
"I've used just about every kind of goose decoy on the market today and every one of those brands found a new home thanks to one of those online auction websites. That was until now. The Big Foot floater decoys are goose magnets! I bought some of these to hunt early season this year and I really could not believe the success I had with them compared to the previous years of goose hunting. I'm ashamed to admit it but my hunting partner and I missed a group of three that we should have let land in the spread only to have them circle out 100 yards, regroup, proceed to land again and be taken in our spread. Very impressive! I'm not the greatest caller in the world so I have to credit this season to the Big Foot decoys. They are most definitely the very best there is!"

Big Foot Flocked Head Floater Goose Decoys,September 1, 2008
By DPC13
"Very realistic. The flocked heads coupled with the body detail and coloring make them extremely life like. My only issue came when assembling the heads to the bodies. To ease the fit, you're instructed to "warm the heads" in water prior to assembly. I didn't expect this to be necessary and even though I followed the instructions, I found the assembly to be very difficult. In fact, I may leave them assembled so as not to have to fight it again."

"I bought some early in the year, and I loved them so much, I had to buy some more. The only draw back is that the low rester head is a pain to lock on. Other than that, what a wonderful addition to the spread!"

Big foot decoys,January 7, 2008

"The goose paint scheme seems to be to brown on the body rather than gray like a canadian goose would be and once the heads are on you can't remove them, makes it hard to bag them."
