"I suffer from calf cramps, mostly during hunting season. I have always liked over the calf socks but they never stayed up. Not with these socks they stay up all day. I have stared wearing them at work were I do a lot of walking. I always try to find these out of the laundry basket first. They are a little harder to get on and off but are worth it for the comfort. I will be buying more."

"These socks do perform as compression socks should: by compressing the lower leg, stimulate circulation and reduce fatigue when standing for a long time. BUT, they don't make a huge difference, and they just aren't that comfortable. I realize compression socks are going to feel small, but these are just about constrictive. As such, the amount of fatigue reduction is fairly minor, and on top of that the socks just aren't that comfortable, at least to me."

"These work very good for me. I bought a pair for a friend, my husband and myself. "I have had trouble in the past with my feet swelling after sitting or standing for long periods of time. I have tried other compression socks with little to no success. These socks are different....you can tell it as soon as you put them on. They are a strong, tight fit...no nonsense to stop the feet from swelling. Be prepared for these socks to put a good grip on you but the swelling will end."

"I've used these socks in the tropics and they're about the only thing going in a coolmax boot-height sock...so one really has no choice if you want to keep your feed relatively dry and cool. However, the don't last long and there are exposed seems and other rough spots that could be greatly improved."

Best Socks I've Ever Owned,August 15, 2008

"Though these socks are expensive, I've paid more for other brands. However, these are the best socks I've ever owned! I bought them for two reasons. 1) They are very comfortable and warm. My feet are always cold unless I wear long thick socks year round. 2) They are easy to pull up (though they rarely need it because they stay up so well) with arthritic fingers.
These socks are made for those with poor circulation, which isn't the reason I bought them. However, after owning them for several weeks, I realized that may be the reason I like them so well. I have always had poor circulation. These socks make my feet and legs feel better when I wear them. They are neutral in color, so I can wear them with everything. I wear them every day, and will continue to do so until they wear out or can't replace them. That will be a sad day.
I previously bought wool socks to keep my feet warm. They were more expensive than these socks but did keep my feet warm. However, they did not stay up well, and were so tight that pulling them up was hard. They slipped down all day long. They weren't very stretchy, and I have arthritis in the joints of my fingers so it was always painful to grab the top and pull them up.
These compression socks stay up almost all day, and when they do ride down, they are soft and stretchy, and I can get my fingers under them easily and pull them up to my knee.
Bottom line - if your feet are always cold, if you have bad fingers - you'll love these socks. They are worth every penny."

"Thanks Cabelas! The doctor prescribed compression socks for me to wear daily. The others that I have worn are not coolmax and therefore become uncomfortably hot and sweaty in activities like hiking. For work and dress I wear Columbia pants (from this website) freqently and these go well. I just wish they had other colors such as blue or gray. The bottom line for me though is that these are very comfortable and seem to wear well."
